The levels are about 2x too long for the content and reward. You'll have to play some levels multiple times, and do not get to keep all the money you find for completing them partially. The enemies (at least in the first ~10 levels) don't feel different enough to make that process fun, especially with how low the rewards are to upgrade your character. There also aren't enough upgrades, or they aren't cheap enough, to make up for the lack of content and grind of the game.

Just picked this up this morning and now it's dark out. Just difficult enough (so far) to completely lose track of time. 1 Day in so far. Can't give the last star until I get deeper.

gameplay is fine it can be fun/challenging, i dont mind grinding here and there for cash but the biggest flaw for me and what makes me hardly play the game is the moving platforms, they are WAY to F'N slow, anytime i have to stand there and wait to play the more i dont wanna play it. so ive made it to like lvl 6 or so not very far and already bored

Very fun so far. Bought Runic Curse at its launch (pick that up if u like this) this has full controller at least for Xbox 1 controller haven't tested my others. Great job can't wait for another hack n slash. I agree with Mateor's review on here as well

This game is quite hard and it is addictive but if you grind a bit for the spells and upgrades it is fun.

you should play all this developer's games. Tremendous midsize action platformers. Like Salt & Sanctuary, except he is putting them out twice a year
