The app asked me for a review, so here goes. In short I would strongly recommend everyone to look elsewhere if their intent is to manage travel expenses. The app is OK, albeit slow and with some annoying bugs, for general expenses that happen infrequently and where there is no shared information between any two transactions. Since my company switched to this app for travel expense management, I have at least doubled the time spend processing expenses. What used to take no more than 20-30 minutes on a busy week now takes at least twice that if everything works out as it should. When it doesn't, which also happens a lot, it requires at least one e-mail to the accounting department to have them manually fix something the app handles incorrectly or doesn't support. Maybe it's my company's fault for choosing an app that is not suited to the task, but this app is not designed to handle traveling expenses. In a travel expenses app, the basic activity would be "register expenses incurred during a trip", while in this app it is simply "register an expense". Since a trip usually has more than one item to expense, this fundamental design flaw in the app means that information such as "which customer to bill the expense to", "where did you go" and similar information which is identical for everything on the entire trip must be input for every single expense instead of only once. If the costs should be split among multiple customers the split must also be done for every single expense. There is no way to register a split for an entire trip, since the app has no concept of "trip". This is frustrating, increases non-billable time spent on registering travel expenses, and increases the chance of errors due to typos. The app is also slow and has quite a few annoying bugs, such as one form with a field that is required but not marked as such. If that field is not filled out the app deletes everything on the form without warning.

After switching to Acubiz, the time used for reporting and accepting travel expenses has increased a lot. The UI is not intuitive, data is hidden. Even though this is a system for managing travel expenses, the concept of a travel expense report is poorly supported and you need to work with individual expenses. The worst thing is a bug: even if fields look like they are filled, they are not. There is no readable error message when submitting and I need to go to the web UI to see what's going on.

allow pdf as attachment. when an error message is displayed, allow user to rectify issue - instead of having to guess where to touch/click. overview is just a list, grouping should be possible, by date range or other properties. Using existing records as templates, too much guesswork when app is used intermittently.

I get most of my receipts on my email. I want to do this on my computer. **update. I read some other reviews. Seems everyone is frustrated with the lack of pdf. compatibility**

Hugely frustrating that on android milage automatically records as kms not miles and no way of changing it. If you set it on the map function or click record it automatically measures the distance in KMs but then states the distance as miles on your expenses submission. Eg if I drive 100 miles it will measure it as 160 therefore overstates all car journeys and I cannot submit any expenses for milage rendering a most of what I need the app for pointless and leaving me out of pocket. Not good!

A very bad app full of bugs that keep it crashing and the only way to solve this is to uninstall and reinstall it every time. No automatic recognition of the kind of expense, takes you twice the time to fill a report that other similar apps.

No improvement from the older version. Much slower. First time I tried it my phone went black several times. Why send an update, if there is no improvement? And why send in a review, if the developer does not care? You reply 7 months later? Seriously?

Clunky interface and out of date. Cannot do basic things in Android app like updating a receipt that is a PDF. The PDF must be converted to an image file to upload. Workflow for assembling travel reports is non-intuitive.
