Dustbunny is a warm, relaxing yet guided journey of reconnecting with your repressed emotions, where the emotions are cute creatures that like to hide. If you catch one and let it express itself, it can grow into a beautiful plant - some into extremely rare plants! Care for your plants with fun interactions like watering, catching pests and so much more - you can even sing for your plant. Relax with minigames like catching bubbles in your bubble tea. As your room becomes your safe space, you might encounter your inner child in the room's hidden depths. There was always a void inside your mind, like a sinkhole. One day, you woke up inside the void.
You find yourself in a dusty, abandoned room, greeted by a friendly bunny who seems to hold the keys to the secrets of the room.
There are some things you can do in this room.
⁕ Catch your repressed emotions ⁕
As you look around the dusty room, you might encounter Emotibuns - shy creatures that like to disguise as dustbunnies. They come from your repressed emotions, such as sadness, anger, anxiety, loneliness, and emptiness. They're extremely fast so you need to keep your eyes peeled and fingers ready! Once you catch and name an Emotibun, it will burst into its emotion and sprout into a plant. Each plant will have an ID card that logs your journey of care and growth.
⁕ Love your plants & yourself ⁕
What's your love language? There are over 20 different ways to love and care for your plants. Using Care Cards, you can do basic care like watering, catching pests, and feeding your plant, as well as actions like touching, singing, and writing to your plant. Each plant is one-of-a-kind and grows dynamically to communicate with you - they sparkle when healthy, get droopy when sick, and even jump out of the pots sometimes. As you learn to love and care for your plants, we hope to remind you to do so for yourself, too.
⁕ Collect rare plants ⁕
Each Emotibun sprouts into a unique plant species - it could be a common plant or the rarest unicorn plant. You'll be challenged to collect all the plants in the Plant Index. Rare plants have genetic mutation called variegation, which causes unique patterns on leaves. Advanced players can also unlock abilities to create one-of-a-kind hybrid plants.
⁕ Befriend Empathy ⁕
You'll be guided by Empathy, a friendly bunny with wings! Empathy will give you daily affirmations and stop by your room to share some wisdom about emotional regulation and self-love.
⁕ Get cozy with nostalgic objects ⁕
Every object is interactable. Play minigames with nostalgic objects in your room like bubble tea, plushies, and cup noodles. Some objects will help you relax; others will make you hold your breath!
⁕ Decorate your dream room ⁕
The in-game shop is updated daily with adorable decor options and furniture. You'll find anything from Ghibli-inspired cottagecore to mid-century modern. Create your dream room and share it with our community!
⁕ Complete your narrative ⁕
Uncover the story behind the room and the five emotions as you progress. You'll find yourself looking within to meet your inner child.

I am obsessed with this game! I love plants in real life & had to get rid of mine due to a housing change, so this game has replaced a bit of that missing piece in my life. As you take care of your plants, there are little puzzles & goals inside the game that keep you interested & wanting more. The further you get, the more plants you can have. Also, there is a little character who guides you along your journey & gives you encouragement as well as daily affirmations. Definitely give it a try!

A fun and relaxing game, but the latest update isn't it. I know it's disappointing to a dev when they spend a ton of time and energy to improve a game and they get negative feedback, but the massive changes to the graphics look terrible to me, and my wife extremely upset by the changes because she loved it yesterday, and not very much today. I wish there was a way to revert the graphics to how they were before.

The only reason for not rating five stars is the push to ads and monetization. Better than many apps in handling choices to watch ads but it almost emotionally encourages you to watch them. It's good that the creator gets paid but I just personally don't like the persuasive nature of how the ads are written into the structure of the game for you to take care of the plants health and get mainstream quests to watch a quantity of ads daily.

after the update the texture glitched and there's no way to fix it. like VERY glitched update: still glitched. it's to the point not even wanting to play it anymore. and they just stopped giving me energy even though it's the main thing you need to take care of your plants. like i can't even tend to all of my plants because i don't have enough energy, because they just stopped giving me any

Dust bunny is such a cute game, and I really enjoy it a lot. I'd rate it 5 stars, but I do have a couple problems. For one, sometimes the game will refuse to open, crashing as soon as I try and play. Not to mention some of the prices are super high. My biggest problem, though, is that I lost all my progress. I had to switch to a new phone, and I connected dust bunny to my Google play account before I did, but when I downloaded it on my new phone it made me start all over. I'd hate to start anew.

Absolutely phenomenal game!!! Extremely relaxing, well thought-out, and tactile / sensory-foucused - even down to the tiniest details (such as being able to check plants via a meter or just by looking close at how they wilt / change to know exactly what they need, etc.) - absolutely gorgeous, relaxing and amazing overall! The only "downside" is it is a bit overwhelming to understand all the mechanics at first, but after that it's super easy! Very thoughtful text and life / self-care tips, too 💖

Incredible!! a few of my fav features: ads are voluntary, graphics are pleasing, music is fire, and plant knowledge is wonderful. Just wish I could add other ppl who also have the app! Update: if you want to actually disable vibration you need to put the slider all the way down. The off button isn't functional otherwise. Also, the camera sensitivity when viewing plants is way too high and no option to change :( (not the "rotate plant" option, but the regular viewing and taking photo option)

Update: Developer is responsive. Still crashes occasionally after watching an ad. Hoping it gets fixed. Game is relaxing. Having trouble with the app not updating. Says there's an event but showing it still is the Feb event. Uninstalled to try to see if that worked and one of my rare plants is now gone. Not sure what else. Tried again and now it reset the whole game. I was level.9.
