VTube Studio is your all-in-one solution for becoming a Live2D Virtual YouTuber like the pros!

With VTube Studio, you can easily load your own Live2D models directly on your Android phone (must support ARCore face tracking) and become one with them using face tracking. You can also use VTube Studio for macOS or Windows to stream the face tracking data directly to your computer and animate the model there and use it in your own videos and livestreams!

Please note that the Android version does not quite have tracking as good as the iPhone/iPad version.

For more information on how to download the macOS and Windows versions or how to load your own models (it's easy!), please see the official manual: https://github.com/DenchiSoft/VTubeStudio/wiki

Note: VTube Studio is officially licensed to use the Live2D Cubism SDK.

*Edit: Items can't be moved anymore as they immediately delete whenever you touch the screen.. so unfortunate (Went down 1 star as that's a main feature with this app.)* Differences in phone/camera can make or break tracking on the android version, as the PC/iPhone versions unfortunately just outclass this atm. Aside from unfortunately not really letting you blink/wink, it sort of tracks, & gets the job done-ish. I mainly just use it to post/record "selfie"-style content if I'm on the go.

There unfortunately doesnt seem to be a well-rounded app for android vtubers at the moment. A lot of this stems from a lack of face-tracking on Android hardware itself, and also+ this app in particular is somewhat difficult to work with in comparison to its PC or iphone versions. I hope the Android version will be improved in the future, but for now it doesn't quite meet standards for creating content with.

Works as advertised. For those complaining about facial tracking! If your phone does not have IR technology or FaceID (Newer Samsungs support it if they let you make a avatar on the camera app and it tracks well) the face tracking, even with proper lighting, is NOT going to be as accurate. It's not the app. It's your device. If you do have a device that supports facial tracking, make sure that you calibrate the app to ensure it is as accurate as possible.

Checking back AGAIN, with another update AGAIN that doesn't fix the issue of the app not working with Samsung S22Ultra's camera. It says it fixed an issue with textures showing up as black masses on Samsung phones. How? When people can't even use the app on galaxy phones properly? When are you going to fix this???? Also whenever I've reached out about this, it has been completely ignored.

Really awesome for the fact that you have this app on Android. However, as someone else had said (not verbatum) that there should be a customize your own avatar option. If you update the app with the QoL change then it'll be better. Also, have there to be functions for various types of Android devices and things that'll support ones version of Android. We want smooth movement rather than choppy 144p movement. Thank you for taking your time to read my message.

Sadly, I could not use the app on my Android 10. Too complex, too difficult to understand. A virtual video avater maker should be very easy to use, unlike what's here. You have good ideas but you just need to make it more compatible with Android. Most people want it in Android. We already have PC softwares that does this. We want Android apps that do the same. Thanks.

The app has permission to use camera and audio and still pops up with "Start recording or casting with VTube Studio? VTube Studio will have access to all of the information that is visible on your screen or played from your device while recording or casting. This includes information such as passwords, payment details, photos, messages, and audio." Every single time. The "Start now" button of the pop-up is OVERLAYED on the record button. I can not record because it cancels 9/10 times.

This app is pretty damn cool! However, there is one problem I like to address, and that is the screen recording feature of the app. I tried it out and recorded myself messing with the default VTube avatar, but when I wanted to play the video back, it says that I cannot play video. I was wonder if this problem can be addressed? I own an Android 11 phone if that helps.
