Was nice at first. Sound kinda sucks and I've lost saved game data even though I know I saved it. Now it's not loading the game at all. It opens the game. I can see the Gameboy layout and the screen is white. Loads and then just sends me back to the app. Won't open otherwise. I've tried exiting app and restarting my phone. Soo much for all the effort.

It's good except that while playing and you go off you loose a lot of progress and if you hit the home button accidentally there goes an hour.(not if you hit the quit button on the menu) I have some of the games on the original console and I'd say some things run just as fast as the original which it good

Downloaded Donkey Kong and Spyro and I am loving the nostalgia! However the library of recent games or even favorites when I manually add a game to favorites, only holds one game at a time. I have to find the file everytime I want to play a different game than the one currently in the library (edit: OK I figured out all game files need to be in the same folder). I wish they had the different gamepad options offered by similar apps. Very smooth gameplay and I haven’t had any problem with saves.

This is one of the best put together emulator apps for Android. Other than some small minor issues such as cover art not loading most of the time or not being able to see more than a few games at a time unless they're saved to favorites, the app works fantastically. I'd love to see this potentially get better compatibility for smart things so I can play on the TV and use my phone as the remote, or at least hide the controls and use my own controller. Love it either way!

Love this emulator. It has the occasional ad and sometimes it crashes when I try to load up a game but that's barely a problem because I can just close the app then reopen it and it works fine, it is kind of annoying though. Other than that it's really good. It automatically maps the right buttons to my controller, unlike other emulators. One thing I was hoping for were some other consoles like the Dreamcast and the Saturn but as of now it's totally worth it for what it has.

Okay so one good thing is that it has a lot of game systems to use. However you will have difficulty functioning without a bios for a few of them. The game resets when you tilt your phone resetting any progress you have in game (even save files). The active touch feedback is a little weak. Sometimes when I'm trying to play the control input doesn't respond. And I think it would be nice if they added a cheat function to allow you to use cheat codes. Other than that I like it 😀
The Purdue Global Experience
Works very well as a base emulator. That being said, having purchased the pro version I was disappointed to find that cheat codes weren't an available input option. Also, would be great to be able to run dual emulator set ups to allow for link trading like some emulators are able to do. Basically I'm not seeing any great bells and whistles to justify that pro price tag, otherwise, a good emulator option at free.

Won't let me edit controller configuration, games crash upon loading quite often, and most disappointing is that saving doesn't always work and I've lost hours of progress in my game because I've saved, closed the emulator, and then come back as if I hadn't saved in hours even though I'd saved several times in the time period. Also the audio in all my games is really messed up and garbled but only on this emulator.
