This app is awesome! I haven't used its tilt angle recommendations yet, but they seem legit. The angle finder is GOLDEN! most "bubble level" apps will not give you elevation above horizontal like this one: Past 45 degrees, they seem to give you angle from vertical. Highly recommended.

Instead of pushing for premium. They should make app work a bit better. What is the point of asking for GPS access if you going to leave my location in Africa? When gain access it should have auto adjust sand save. You need to go open menu. Then map.. Then force the red pin to adjust. It is a tap not a hold. Then the map won't let you do basic things like point north. They are already pushing ads. Should at least give us basic functionality

Input jumped from 2.1A to 6A incoming at peaks seconds after orientation using the app. Looks like the hail (last month) knocked the panel (pole mounted) out of orientation. It's backup for the radio and when power was knocked out last night, the batteries lasted an hour and a half. These guys thought their batteries were bad but in reality they weren't really charging. Hopefully during the next storm they don't lose comms. I wasn't supposed to work this weekend but you got 5 stars from me. 👍

Gives accurate angle information for your zip areas on the fly. Plan on using app for initial solar panel adjustment and fine tune (if needed) with a shadow gauge.

I love the simplicity of the app. Thank you for understanding that the traditional optimum angle is not THE optimum angle. My issue is that after swiping around on the app, it finally used my location and the optimum tilt made since. I can not, though, get the monthly tilt angles to update to my location. Even though the correct position is listed at the top of the page, the angles do not agree with the optimum tilt given on the first page. Please fix because this is just to handy to not use it.

What works is awesome, BUT...... I paid for Premium, and it still is in Free mode. I can't use all the features. -UPDATE- To enable the premium features you need to fully shut the app down. Not just close it. Then the next time you open the app, the premium features will be enabled.

First I go to the map and it tells me "Optimal Tilt: 29.9" Then I go to Monthly Tilt and it says 10 degrees for today at my location. Then I go to the dial thing and it does not remind me what the goal is, either 29.9 or 10 degrees. So I have to write it on my hand or switch screens while climbing on a ladder or other distractions. The small hand on the dial, by experiment, says south when I point the phone north. And the ads are more intrusive than anything I have ever seen before. Meanwhile th

Simple app.... some ads but remember... it's free!!!! Would be good if the inclinometre was part of the front screen but for lining up your 1st panel... good enough. Remember to average the entire year using the monthly figures and you are good to go.
