Reconnection can be a lot better. Eg. After going out of range and back (phone to device), the app won't auto connect, instead, it keeps popping up with a new connection page AFTER i manually restarted the whole process of connecting. Reopening app takes too long, considering that my phone is already connected to the device.

App doesn't work 90% of the time. I bought 2 speakers for a stereo experience. Who knew the app experience was such trash. Switching to stereo doesn't work. Once your speakers are paired, it's impossible to switch to the stereo functionality from the boost. The app doesn't realise that you're connected to both, it shows a connect button for the speaker. If you tap it you're wasting your time reconnecting again.

Takes up 114 MB just to switch the Charge 4s to stereo mode. Needs high spec phone to run the speakers in stereo smoothly. Very poor implementation. T'is a shame because when it works, they're one of the best sounding speakers I've heard in a while. The app doesn't have any other features. It doesn't even allow you to control the volume level setting of the speakers, let alone display it. Edit: Oct 2021 made stereo more stable. Still doesn't show volume level of the speakers on the stereo page.

Unable to use the stereo feature for charge 3 on this app. Keep having the party mode. Any advice? Found my mistake and solved myself. I need to connect ONE speaker to my phone and the other speaker need to connect through the connect plus by pressing the dedicated button. The app will bug out if both speakers connected to the phone. Hope this will help others.

Seriously need an update ASAP already. My jbl flip 5 and 6 have been showing inaccurate battery reading's on the app. I was enjoying listening music outdoors and suddenly the battery just died on me. The app showed full battery but then i have been playing music for 6 hrs at 50 to 60 percent volume and the battery just died because i thought the battery is still full. Wish the speaker notified us or the app notified when the battery is really low. And also fix your battery level inaccuracy

Useless apps. Couldn't find my flip 5 which I just bought and it is sitting beside phone for 1hour trying to connect and it's not playing any song at all. Hey JBL, is it my phone and flip 5 are too close to each other, that's why the stupid apps couldn't find the speaker??? Too bad there are no 0 star. The speaker is great but the apps is utter rubbish. Until JBL fixed the issue, it will remain as a 1 star. Which I don't think they will fix it though

Second time trying this app after 2 years and still, it is an Useless app, followed the instruction and still cannot detect my Flip 3 even though it is paired with my phone. Please advise other ways to update the firmware as the sound sometime auto turned off even though it is still connected to my phone via bluetooth.

This is literally one of the worst apps I've ever tried to use. No you do not need to know my location, but okay allow location to find the speaker that is connected 3 inches away, 3 feet away etc. from my phone. And somehow it still cannot find the speaker which is right here and connected via Bluetooth. Overpriced garbage.
