I really love the app, but a few things are frustrating with it. No ability to comment why you're reporting activities for example. I had someone take my hexes running through a woodland doing a 2 minute km, a world record, clearly there was a glitch. Activities done on a bike. Would love the ability to comment with runners in your group. I can understand why you wouldn't with rivals, but groups would be good.

The app quality has gotten better over time and it no longer crashes as often when in use. I have been using for more than a year but have decided to uninstall because the company continues to take previously free features and make them part of the paid membership. These previously free features are just not worth the $3.99 fee and they should be adding NEW features instead at a monthly cost that high.

Nice in theory, but lacking in execution. The app crashes often. As for the gameplay, one runs in a loop and gets all the territory in that loop - nice for marathoning loopers, but not good for non-loop runners and even worse for walkers who get steamrolled... Also it's good there's a cycling mode, but I'm waiting for similar stats and achievements as the on-foot users get, not to mention a combined 'explored' map.

I had fun owning areas, and it did give me the impetus to run further, and in different directions. Since my phone update, the app doesn't like it when I only allow the app to track my movements whilst using it. I do not know why the app wants to track me when I am not working out. Run keeper does not do this.

Decent idea, but most of the content is behind a very expensive (in my opinion) pay wall. They'd likely get a lot more positive reviews and customers if they made the price more reasonable. Tracking is a joke and it's somewhat temperamental as an app. Edit, addition of garmin compatibility and improvement of app. Additional edit, tried free trial of premium and most features don't work.

A great idea and wonderfully motivating. I had an issue with the free version so I emailed the help site and they fixed it! I am looking forward to when more people play so it will be more fun, but even if I'm the only player I still like expanding my territory and finding new places to go. I love that they're constantly improving. I'm super excited about the new bike map! Would love if there was a way to edit activity if you drive away with the tracker on haha.

Used this app for a few years, kept me motivated during longer runs so I captured more hexagons. Recently had a bug which means it no longer let's me collect hexagons. I've emailed for support but have had no response. Shame as I have really enjoyed using this app. Will uninstall soon if I don't get a reply.

Good idea, needs more work. Text input (especially for setting your password) is clunky, and the cursor jumps around a bit. Switching wifi hotspots during exercise seems to reset the tracking, which is especially annoying if you have a limited data plan and rely on hotspots for most of your data service. The UI is intuitive, but unpolished, and a lot of what seem to be basic features to me (looking at leader boards for your country, for example) are locked behind a premium subscription service.
