I've been a user of Livedrive backup since 2012. The service is reliable and good value. I recently experience a drive failure and needed to use Livedrive to recover over 6TB of files. Livedrive did a great job and recovered over 99% of those files which I think is a great result.The feature set is however limited and encryption of files at rest would be a desirable feature. The frequency of updates to the x86 desktop client is also disappointing with no updates since June 2021.

Do not trust livedrive to actually back up your data. I have been using it for years, believing my files were safely backed up. integrity checks confirming everything was OK. my HD failed, so I tried to restore to a new disk. only now Livedrive reports that 22000 files out of 30000 were never backed up successfully! what is the point of backup software that does not actually back up your files? I have tried contacting support, but have had no response at all. Avoid this company at all costs

often fails to upload, so you try to upload and it duplicates files. When you want to delete file to start again it won't allow you until you've deleted files in folder however you can't select all! you hahe to select and delete each file one by one which takes far to long if you have hundreds and hundreds of files in one folder. AVIOD.

I like the web and app for automatically backing up all sorts of files permanently to the cloud. Unfortunately, it can be hard to find files/photos/video later by anything other than date.

Reliable and easy to use. It has features that more expensive apps do not have. I appreciate the availability of the app on my mobile devices and the ability to view pictures without having to download them first. Highly recommend.

I strongly suggest you DON'T use this app unless you have 2 copies of your uploads. Some uploads, even though everything points to it being there, isn't. You cannot Download it because it says it wasn't uploaded, even though it was. SUGGESTION. Get TERABOX INSTEAD. it's more reliable.

Don't trust live drive. Once your data is on their servers it corrupts and becomes irretrievable. Their support is beyond useless too. You will lose your data, guaranteed. There are thousands of horror stories on the internet so you need note take my word and 25 years in IT for it. Go see for yourself, you have been warned. Terrible company. They should be sued out of existence
