Prerequisites:

- QNAP NAS running firmware V4.0 or later

Major features of Qmanager:
- Monitor your system information, such as CPU usage, memory usage, system event info, online user…
- Check your download station, backup task info. You also can manage the download task or backup task remotely. You can pause or run the task.
- Turn on/off application services via Qmanager with one simple click.
- Check connection status or the current online users to prevent invasion.
- Restart or shutdown the Turbo NAS remotely.
- Use “Find My NAS” to let your NAS turn on the “Beep” sound.

Original Post - June 24, 2015 I like the layout, look and feel, but see no compelling reason to upgrade. I would have preferred keeping QGET in this app. But the biggest missing feature is the lack of volume decryption. I would really love to see that in this app or in Qfile. Update - October 2, 2018 I see Volume Decryption is now present in the app, but it doesn't work? Does it only support an all lower-case password or something?!?

"wake on lan" function on qmanager worked only once for my QuTS Hero 1288x, then stopped working. What a shame... However, the "wake on lan" works on the qfinder pro. But the qfinder doesn't support Android! In summary, i don't have "wake on lan" app to wake up my qnap 1288x from using Android !!! What a shame to qnap... Yes of course I always have my vpn client running on my Android mobile phone. The WOL of the qmanager only worked once and that's all.... Qfinder pro doesn't support Android.

2-25-20...Getting better! Ability to apply NAS app updates etc is a useful addition. Still a bit clunky and need improvements in log viewing and actions from logs. 8-1-2019... STILL NO MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONALITY! 3-1-2019... Still no real management functionality. This falls short like many QNAP apps. Very disappointing. 1-7-2018...It should not be named q"manager". It's really only a monitoring app except for the ability to turn installed apps on & off. But that's it. Disappointing.

24TB home archive. Malware/virus check take up to 60 hours churning through 99.9% static data. Firstly if there is CPU activity describe what it is. Secondly have the ability to schedule or kill virus checks from the app so I'm not burning 100x more disk life hours scanning data with the aircon off, than I am accessing it with aircon on. I was stupid to buy ironwolf pro drives with long spin up time and agricultural noise but please change the wake timeout or cache more data in memory.

This app is a complete waste of time. On my home network it never finds my nas or connects. Even when I added it manually it still won't connect and yet I can log in using that same IP address in a Web browser. Waste of time. Uninstalled.

Really too limited featurss. Cannot configure more than 10% of the GUI settings. Just good to add users and start app, upgrade fmw (which is automatic anyway...). So in the end I have to connect to webui from mobile and that's just a pain as the UI is not designed for mobile screens, so have to use desktop mode on mobile. This was acceptable in 2015 but we are in 2023 now.

Useless app. You can't even change the power sleep settings. A basic setting. This app does nothing at all.

Much has improved since the last time I used this app. I wasn't expecting to see things like Container Station and Virtualization Station, so that's pretty neat!
