Commu is a map based platform that allows you to make notices about you needing help or notices that you're offering help to others. It also allows you to easily see what kind of needs are near you. You can easily reach out to other users and agree on details within the app in our built-in chat, without the need to share phone numbers or social media profiles.

Commu is built by young Finnish entrepreneurs. We have a mission to lower the threshold to ask for help and give help. We launched the app in May 2021 and are constantly improving it according to our user feedback. The idea is great but the app not so much so I'm not even trying to be active in it. Can't find my way around the app, messages and offers listed without dates and not enough info behind, very old comments hanging around... Distance filter not working either. It's a pity, really...

Commu is a great app! I've been able to use it to easily post requesting help in my community and have received responses from several people very fast. I have also been able to see all the posts near me and have helped a few people. It is so easy!

I really like the idea of this app. However, could you please make the text in the advertisements able to be copied? All the listings are in Finnish and there's no way to translate them. Also the design is pretty ugly haha, but I understand this is an early version :)
