Edit: Been in contact with someone from Aula via email, while the issue below hasn't been resolved, they were very helpful in trying to figure it out. Although not happy with the outcome, i have been satisfied with the level of customer service received. Got new phone and trying to sign into aula, put my email address in and then it comes up a blank page telling me to authenticate but no options to do anything. I have deleted and redownloaded but nothing.

I'm starting university after a career that includes 20 years of software design and implementation. This app is full of good ideas that will sell well to university bigwigs, but that are extremely poorly implemented. Prime example is the diary... essential, but no integration with Google or any other calendar app, so the university can add lessons or update times & locations but the only way to find out about them is to log back in every five minutes. Chat appears to be the same.

I never leave feedback but here I am. This is one of the most horrible apps I have ever used. It is unpractical- if you open a notification, you cannot use normally the app as it keeps bringing you back to the page you opened initially. You cannot edit a post you made from the app, submiting assignment and checking the feedback for one is another thing that is not possible. You can't safe or highlight posts so you have to constantly go through the feed to find exactly what you are looking for.

Aula is a very unpredictable app that hardly ever works. I find using the online version a hassle but the mobile app is considerably less functional. I had problems logging in on my old phone, the problems have only been amplified since getting a new phone. Last week i bought a new galaxy S22, since switching to this phone i have not been able to log into aula. I put my email in then i'm taken to an authentication page that is blank and does nothing.

Extremely poor app, sometimes it just refuses to work, decides that some days I can upload documents and others I can't and half the time I can open documents on the app with one device but not another. Some very important features like uploading coursework to Turnitin are only accessible on the desktop version (ridiculous when it's touted as a completely mobile learning tool). Overall a rubbish app that noone would have used if the COVID crisis hadn't happened.

Finally! Notifications work properly and take you to the correct post. The fact that spaces are now sorted by academic year is a vast improvement on the previous mess of a list. The functionality related to viewing coursework and Turnitin details is still limited, but you can view your results at least. Updated on 13/03 to revise from 1 to 4 stars. Any chance of getting a dark mode?

Not too sure what update this has just had, but overnight, I can no longer view the hidden materials on spaces (as an educator). It's been adapted so I can view the student success app, but do nothing with it. Although I can see what it is a popular app for education, it is so clunky and editor/educator unfriendly. I'm only using this because we have to...

Aula after update has gone downhill you can't view any mp4 or videos on android tablet or smartphones to back to next problem, people put up messages you click on them, the thread comes up but not the message on that thread. A number of students have this problem. The following problem has been resolved on phones... Still can't view video lectures on this system if your using a tablet or phone, only possible in a laptop. So it's getting there increased from one star to two as developer is trying
