Creato da un team di vigili del fuoco volontari australiani, FireMapper è la soluzione completa di mappatura e condivisione delle informazioni per i primi soccorritori, le agenzie di servizi di emergenza e le organizzazioni di pubblica sicurezza. FireMapper fornisce funzionalità intuitive e potenti, tra cui:SIMBOLOGIA DEL SERVIZIO DI EMERGENZA
FireMapper include simboli antincendio comunemente usati in Australia, Nuova Zelanda, USA e Canada con supporto per:
- Insieme di simboli australiani di tutti i rischi
- Simboli dei punti di incendio interagenzia USA
- Simboli NZIC (Nuova Zelanda).
- FireMapper include anche simboli per operazioni/pianificazione urbane, ricerca e salvataggio e valutazione dell'impatto.
REGISTRAZIONE GPS
Puoi registrare le linee sulla mappa utilizzando il GPS del tuo dispositivo.
TRACCIARE LINEE
Puoi disegnare rapidamente linee sulla mappa usando il dito.

TROVA POSIZIONE
- Cerca posizioni utilizzando diversi formati di coordinate (4 cifre, 6 cifre, 14 cifre, lat/lng, utm e altro)
SUPPORTO OFFLINE
- Le mappe possono essere create offline senza una connessione Internet. I livelli della mappa di base vengono memorizzati nella cache per l'utilizzo offline.

We have used this app for Cultural burning, wildlife surveys, feral animal and weed surveys, to track work for weed management jobs. It's been really good so far. We like the huge variety of icons to use, and it's easy to draw and mark polygons. Works fine offline, but sometimes is slow to load different layers when offline, but probably not the app's fault.

Exporting maps with all features that have been added to the map as a GPX.file isn't working and is making you do on feature / fire edge / GPS tracks. With out this feature working properly it is making it hard to share to other people.

I love it. The range of options available and ease of use is outstanding. One suggestion would be to add a measuring tool for distance / area / possibly hieght.

Absolutely fantastic. Used it at many fires as on truck and in group vehical. Makes it so much easier to give good sitreps to Duty Officer

GPS doesn't work, otherwise great for mapping out hazard reduction burns and wildfires. Just sucks having to zoom in and out to find my exact location. Can only use in conjuction with other apps that actually have GPS

Getting better but difficult to see the total Fire size in hectares 9nce the perimeter is complete
