Nice app, works well, and great service! Make sure you set the notifications inside the app itself, in addition to within Android in order to receive notifications. For some reason, not all the notification settings are exposed to the OS.

I switched over to Meowtel as I only have cats and while Rover covered all pets, Meowtel specializes in kitties so I felt more confident in the sitter I was hiring. The app is easy to navigate, worked well for communication between the pet sitter and myself and was convenient for payment.

It's a really great service, and has been extremely handy for hiring a cat sitter with peace of mind everything is safe and secure. You can do a meet and greet with the sitter you pick to make sure you are comfortable with them first before the actual appointment. The customer service is also really good, and I always received very timely responses. Overall I would quite recommend for anyone looking for a regular cat sitter or even if you just need it once or twice.
