Wat zijn de opties in de EDIT-modus?
* Creëer, open, wijzig en bewaar bestanden (TXT, XML, HTML, CSS, SVG, LOG...) in verschillende coderingen (meer dan 200 coderingen).
* Bewerk bestanden in de interne opslag en op verwisselbare media (SD-kaarten en USB-flashstations).
En ook op cloudservers: Google Disk, Microsoft OneDrive en DropBox.
Bestanden bewerken op cloudservers die WebDAV-technologie ondersteunen: Yandex, Mail.ru, Synology en anderen.
Bestanden bewerken op FTP-servers.
* Open meerdere bestanden in verschillende vensters.
* Zoek in een bestand naar een tekstfragment en vervang het ene fragment door het andere.
* Recente wijzigingen ongedaan maken.
* Wijzig de hoofdlettergebruik van zowel de gehele tekst als een fragment.
* Verzend tekst (via e-mail, sms, instant messengers, enz.) en ontvang tekst van andere applicaties.
* Tekst afdrukken (op printers die aan uw account zijn gekoppeld) of naar een PDF-bestand.
* Laad lettertypen uit TTF- en OTF-bestanden.
* Extraheer tekst uit RTF-, PDF- en MS Office-bestanden.
* Als u een USB-toetsenbord aansluit, kunt u tekst bewerken zoals op een pc.

In de READ-modus kan de editor grote bestanden openen (1 GB of meer).
De editor kan op de gebruikelijke manier worden gestart, maar ook vanuit het contextmenu ("Openen met ..." en "Verzenden/doorsturen ...") van andere applicaties (bijvoorbeeld bestandsbeheerders of browsers).
OPMERKINGEN.
Als u een groot bestand probeert te openen in de bewerkingsmodus, zullen er vertragingen optreden bij het openen en scrollen.
De optimale bestandsgrootte is afhankelijk van de prestaties van het apparaat.

Thanks for the quick reply. The part of the app that confused me is the fact that in the settings you can put in credentials for box or Yandex or Private, but no other cloud services. I was expecting to be able to put in my Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive credentials in the settings as well. Sorry to bug ya.

In windows my favorite small editor was WinPad32 I was looking for a similar editor for Android to specifically use in Pop up View. Since Clipboard History was disabled in Android a Pop Up View Editor helps you get around this. I have tried 7 different editors in Pop Up View. SimpleEditor is Best. It is excellent. I have a few ideas to make it even better for Pop Up use, and would love to see a special version minimize the Title Bar. Excellent Fast Support

This is my first text editor and viewer for my phone. It has great functionality. I wanted it mostly for viewing text files that I created on the computer. Editing features seem pretty complete. Nice, simple interface. Easy to get to commands. No complaints.

Highly erratic operation - Saves are often NOT actually done (it lies) & you'll open a .txt or .rtf you KNOW you just changed & saved, but it's the OLD version ...ARRGGHH.!! App gets confused claiming it can't open an .rtf it always had before ; opens a New blank doc instead... even after clearing cache, un-&reinstalling. I think this app corrupted a very important .rtf file..Grrrrr.

Finally something simple and unpretentious! It has one small bug with color themes which hopefully will be fixed soon but otherwise this app is what I've been looking for for a long time: simple, easy to use and no bloatware.

I really enjoy using the SimpleEditor app. I really like the 'undo', 'redo', and 'tab' buttons. It truly is simple, including the permissions. It's better than Notepad and very reliable!

This is excellent for reading and searching massive text files. This is exactly what I wanted and it does it well. I have used various applications over the years but they have, over time, all stopped being supported and stopped working. I hope the creator of this app makes lots of money from his work and is able to keep this app supported for a long time.
