This is possibly my favorite book out of the series so far. The plot was incredibly engaging. The romances still haven't entirely progressed, but way more satisfying than books 1 & 2. More side characters capture my heart! Honestly, all 3 books are amazing to read, just like any 5 star novel. I expect the 4th book will be even more amazing! Hopefully, it will be released in the spring of 2026. The author has a pattern of releasing in the spring. I can't wait!

Incredible work, as always. The main plot, romantic storylines, characters - all of it is just top notch. In my opinion, it's one of the best choise-based books, definitely recommend to read the whole series

Yayyyy! I have waited so long for this to come out that I thought the writers had forgotten about this series. It's not just a book you read once, and it's over. I have played it over and over and over again, changing key decisions from previous books and with each different love interest, making different decisions, etc. Some parts stay the same, and I can skip through quickly, but there are some changes too, and it's so much fun!

I absolutely love this series and had a pretty good time reading through this book. The romance is, of course, the best part of the book. I do have to say, though, this book almost feels like the weakest one of the series. The plot was oddly structured to the point that when the book ended I was confused because it felt like nothing had been resolved. The book also felt more boring than the others. I'm looking forward to future installments, though.

I love these, I'm a huge fan of choose your own adventure and this is probably my favorite series. There are multiple paths in each book that carry to the next well beyond your 4 love interests or none. The story itself is really good and you can get easily wrapped up in the moments. The only issue I'm having here in the 3rd book is not offering a save at the end. So the story I have played twice now I can't save for book 4 when I comes out. I'm hoping that this will be addressed.

I love this series and Mishka as an author, and because I love this series and respect the author, I have to be honest. Book 3 didn't feel as natural to read like the previous 2 books. The time jumps didn't help. Some phrases were too repetitive, that's shown a lot if you romance Adam/Ava, pained expression was used too often. The antagonists were also too separated from the plot to me, I didn't feel that danger like with the previous bad guys. I enjoyed it but there's a lot that fell flat.

The dialogue and storyline is wonderful as always, but I was disappointed in the combat scenes. I feel as though the enemy could have fought back harder than they did. Maybe being moore aware of the character's physical limits will help, especially when it comes to writing off trappers as "unconscious". Additionally, I feel as though Felix' relationship with the detective needs more ups and downs, rather than constant ups or there is no development. That is why I absolutely love Mason's story.

I bought this immediately after getting an email about it, but I will say, out of all the books, this one is my least favorite. A lot of my choices felt slightly pointless (combat choices, especially). I was hoping for slightly more romance, but I forgot that Adam's a stubborn brick wall. To be fair, I'm just happy to be back in the world of Wayhaven. The book's good, don't get me wrong, and I enjoyed every moment of it, but book 2 is definitely supreme for me. Can't wait for book 4 regardless!
