I initially posted a very positive review of this app, then updated it with a negative, but that was resolved with an update or two...however! Since this login lark was introduced, it has really messed things up. The app that was once a lifesaver has quickly become a potential life-taker. Once your "session" expires and you're forced to log in again, you're then hit with reminders to take medication from the previous days. If you're not switched on, it's dangerous

The notifications are still buggy. sometimes they work flawlessly and sometimes the notification that it's time to take my pill won't pop up until I open the app. it is such an inconvenience to not have them pop up when they should! please do something if you can. this is the only reminder app that I've found that I actually like. when it works properly that is.

This app was so easy to use and set up . I used to set alarms bit when you're not at home it's no help. This app with the postpne feature ( a variable postpone) really helps me keep my medicine on time. It also gives me a list of medications and their strength when I visit my doctor I don't have to write out a separate list or remember it. I highly recommend it now many months of nit years I still love the app!

This app is almost perfect for tracking medications, particularly when you have a complex variety of doses and intervals to take meds at. It's an essential app for post-surgery recovery. The only weaknesses: It allows you to specify how many to take, but doesn't give you an option to say exactly how many you actually took. It also only allows maximum doses to be set for 24 hour period or day. Maximum dose should be allowed for any range of hours (ex: not more than 3 tablets every 2 hours).

I have been disappointed with Dosecast medicine tracker app since the last major upgrade, which has led to slower performance, a cluttered interface, and unnecessary features. If you wanted more features, then design a different app boosting these new features and leave Dosecast alone. While these additions may be useful to some, they have detracted from the original app's core functionality that most users, including myself, rely on. Please restore the original version of the app.

why do I get the "syncing data" wheel of death everytime i open the app now?? Takes forever to sort itself out?

This app has been really great! After full knee replacement my med list went up and was hard to track, especially with the added pain meds that muddled the mind. It prompts me to take meds, warns when I've taken the maximum dose for the day and had a nice history display. My only wish is that I could delete more than one history record at s time...make it a list... check, check, check...delete. Other than that, I'm very happy with this app!!

This app is excellent in that it is comprehensive. Its downside is that recording dosages can be very tedious, executed stepwise. My suggestion would be to present a single form, with all doses due, and all the actions to be taken for each due dose available on that form. When all actions are selected, the user would then click Apply (or some other appropriate word) and the app would then execute all those actions. This would make interactions with notifications much easier.
