Decent game with standard picture and letter questions. The issue is that the layout makes it annoying when it's a long word split over 2 lines and is a little confusing. The bigger issue is that this is meant to be a Movies quiz, so it shouldn't include TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Lost, House of Cards and Rick and Morty - all of which are questions in this game. Aside from those errors, it's a pretty straightforward game.

The layout of the blank spaces for the answers is completely disjointed and inconsistently arranged. TV shows are randomly thrown in, which normally wouldn't be a problem except this game is advertised as specifically focused on movies. The grammar used in the menus and the cut screens is flawed and hard to understand at times. I'm rating two stars for the eye-friendly color scheme and the quickness of the app. I've already deleted it, though. 🤷🏻♂️

Very good and challenging game, with a good mix of popular and more obscure films. Personally I'm okay with films I haven't heard of being included; the game is trying to reach a wide level of players, and that's fine. Regarding the TV shows, if they are included it would be better to either have them bundled together in one or more groups, or labeled as a TV show in the puzzle. Since the game is called "Guess the Movie", I automatically think films when playing.

RECOMMENDED with room for improvement. SOME deeper cut films included for sure, but true movie buffs will have at least heard of most films. Ads are handled appropriately. Other apps with too many could take a hint. Wishes: 1. you could enter letters in any order or rearrange the letters manually. 2. word blanks didn't split words up oddly. 3. Maybe other modes, two player, guess from just pictures, etc. Overall easily recommended.

It's called "Guess the Movie..." and once installed is just called "Movies Quiz" but contains series too. The design has no quality nor detail and is copying basically every other quiz game, also the way the letter boxes are displayed drives me mad, they break words because it doesn't fit in the screen anymore, but they could perfectly break before the word and display it fully in one line

There are still too many obscure recent movies & not much beyond the 80's since last reviewing the game. It also has TV questions - in a movie quiz?! Why not do a separate TV one & have more older movies here? There are a wealth of titles going back easily to the 1920's to choose from. Since my first review there are added game packs. These can be bought with in-game coins, (although some pictures are repeated). Initially there was a charge but this has thankfully been removed!

It's a pretty good app for all ages and can be good to do as a family. You can lost in the game enjoying yourself, however when you hit one your completely stumped with and you no longer have coins to use hints, there may be a bit of frustration. But overall it's a good pass the time game.

No offense is meant by this, i just think it could be a far more interesting app. Firstly, don't put tv shows on your "guess the movie" game, it weakens the format, confuses, and makes you look unprofessional and messy. Secondly, almost all the films are extremely mainstream, maybe it's because i am big into films, but i expected more of a challenge or interactivity. Maybe do a line of dialogue to guess from, then clue 2 is something else like a location etc. Anything to make it less repetative.
