A Google user
I have to say, I used this app for a year, it's one of the best apps that I tried. The service was also good when I needed them. One thing that I didn't like.. The price more than doubled itself during this year, unfortunately now I can't keep learning and finish my German course. It's not very expensive, but not cheap for people who use several apps to learn languages, and it can be used only by phone (no windows version) so for the current price I don't think it worth it..

There's a few things wrong here. The 1 lesson is good, but too little to decide if you want to pay. Either offer more free classes or offer the first month at a reduced price (or one week for free). Additionally scanning the flash sticks that I bought irl is not working. And even if it would, the app is too slow for that use case. Starting up is slow, switching to scan is slow and starting the camera is slow.

Edit: This app is really frustrating. You don't get any object scans for free and no matter how many times I scan a flash stick, I never get the right language. I get BSL, German, French and Spanish but never Italian which is what the actual note is!!! It's too buggy to be worth paying for. The Flashsticks themselves are great but if you want to have access to free language learning, stick to Duolingo. I'm not willing to pay to see if this app is worth it when the video never works.

It's a good app if you have money to invest on it, if you do I think it's worth it. As for me I couldn't pass the 3 beginner's lesson because you have to pay to continue. unlike duolingo even if you haven't paid lessons are available and only some features will be restricted. So I will stick to Duo and Uninstall this, it's a shame to see it going

The language learning itself is nice, but they don't warn you about the payment for a new subscription. I just realized going through my email that I paid at least a year of subscription passed when I stopped using the app, and I got this email from Google Play. I wouldn't have known until I had checked my checking account for my paychecks. $50 wasted this month on an app that I don't use and won't have time to use anyway. Super shady.

I used this app for the free segments to try it out. It has descriptive notes about what what you will learn in each course along with sentences you can practice. I love the speaking segments in the courses that grade on how well you pronounce the word and the little notes on the culture. Great app!

I find this really refreshing, way to learn another language and the flash cards and games make you think fast . Unfortunately subscribing for the year was a nightmare and they declined my subscription which I am disappointed about. But if your bored with apps like DUOLINGO give this one a try.

So far this has been an amazing learning app for German. I have only tried the basic version, im about to purchase the 12 months for $47.99. I believe this app is definitely worth the money. Its a good investment. I am losing my hearing though and this app doesn't have a volume adjustment so it speaks pretty low with no ways of turning up volume.
