[CRUCIFIX] rebirth in reprise
Gr8 experience until now. I mostly use your app for sleeping. Sir David Suchet's voice is just powerful and yet soothing. The sleep timer worked before but 5 days till today May 25/2020 it has stopped working. After I set the sleep timer and lock my phone, the audio keeps on going past the set time. Only when I unlock my phone does it stop and the prompt whether to continue the timer appears. Please fix this! I cannot now drift into sleep as I've to be on alert to put off the audio myself.

This is a great app. However it is not clear how to play the audio. There is a speaker symbol but when you press it, it gives the following options; recently played, install audio (for audio to be downloaded), manage audio and sleep timer. It would be great if you actually had the option to play audio as an option or had a pop up or something that told people how to listen to the audio. I was pulling my hair out after paying for it and it not working but saw a review saying you have to double tap on the chapter number. Bingo finally an option to play from here. Nothing frustrates me more than having a great app let down by poor navigation to do the basic of commands, listen to the audio. You would think with a speaker in the top right hand side that would actually play the audio but not. For this I am going to give it 1 star!. For the app itself happy to increase it to 5 only once you fix this option. You have a lot of reviews saying people can't play the audio's please fix it, it isn't that hard especially as this is a paid app. What are we paying for if we have to read a review to be able to access the audio! The reason why I downloaded it was because it says AUDIO bible I didn't expect to spend 3 days trying to figure out how to get the audio to play.

I really like many things about this app but I find the sleep timer simply does not work unless the screen is on, which defeats the purpose of a sleep timer. It just keeps playing the audio and only if you reopen the app does it pop up saying the timer is finished. It also doesn't go back to where you stopped the audio from, it just goes back to where you started playing from. If there is a setting to help fix these, please advise.

Love this app but it's gone really buggy since the latest update. It keeps freezing on the home screen and I have to force stop the app to get it to open properly. Also, the progress bar at the bottom used to show what verse you are up to, and if you left the app you could come back and continue from where you left off, but it doesn't do that anymore, instead taking you back to the beginning of the chapter. Sent an email about this but no response.

Really enjoying this app. Reading reviews of the audiobook version, sounded like there wasn't any meaningful splitting of books/chapters whereas the app version allows you to select any verse and start the audio at that point. Was a recent bug, meaning that I had to re-download all the audio, but given it was fixed fairly quickly, feel the other bad reviews are a bit unfair.

So far, from a day's experience of using this app, it is probably the best NIV text + audio (offline) app on Google Playstore. It is very easy to navigate and the audio can be played starting from any chapter or verse in the Bible. This is not to mention David Suchet's wonderful voice/narration that makes your listening to it more immersive and enjoyable. There is also an option to highlight/bookmark any verse with your color of choice (from the given selection of colors). It is also indicated in the app, if it is playing the audio, what verse it is currently playing -- this is very handy, because you might want to pause the audio sometimes and look for the text of the verse. If I have some suggestions for improvement, they will be: 1. Since this app is wonderfully immersive, an addition of MAPS of events in the Bible would be great. 2. Currently, you can only "bookmark" one verse at a time. However, there are instances when you want to highlight long passages (composed of several verses), so adding this option would be nice. Overall, a truly great and wonderful Bible app. Kudos to Aimer Media for developing such a great app!

Had this for years and loved it but it no longer works at all despite reinstallions etc😔 please can you fix this bug. I reinstalled yey again hoping it was fixed, downloaded audio separately listened once. Tried to get into the app today (9/12/23)and it's frozen again at front page. I originally paid £9.99 for it - I don't mind about that but I'm missing the app a lot 😔

Disappointing from the first. David Suchet is wonderful (so not 1 *) but the playback has so few functions it is virtually useless, like something from the early 2000s. No repeat function, no skipping within playback. You can't even restart a passage. For 9.99 it's a absurdly mediocre.
