Processing fails all the time. I paid for the subcription, wrote the many emails to the "bug report" . The service was renewed automatically even thought it is not working. I wrote them to get a refund of the second month I paid. No answer. Such a pity, it was a nice app whenever it works! But it doesn't at the moment for me unfortunatelly.

Momixer

This app produces very nice models, but there are a lot of bad things that come with it. 1. You only have under 20 free captures 2. The subscription costs almost 90€/year 3. Either I am dumb or I can't upload my captures to explore page so others can see them 4. This last point is the most important I think: The Devs don't care about Android at all or hate it. For example, theiOS version has plenty more features, but also in the FAQ there is only things for iPhones. Overall, don't recommend it:(

This is the worst experience I've ever had on Google Play. The service itself isn't bad however I started a 7 day trial period that I cancelled after 6.5 days, yet they charged me 79,99€ for a full year subscription. No refund offered by Google. I tried reaching out to the developer and I am hoping to be refunded. Unbelievable.

Good results, but when I made a subscription to pro-user, I was not recognized due to not being logged in. Therefore, I am paying for pro subscription without being able to use it.... Really annoying bug. I tried contacting polycam over the chat system integratet in there website but till now, there has been no response. Otherwise 5 star review. After contacting support, a refund was offered, which I received instantly.

I really enjoy this app. It's a great introduction into 3d scanning with your smartphone. I'm using a Google pixel 6a and a 6 pro and can't really tell the difference in quality between the two, if at all. As long as you take a sufficient amount of overlapping images in a good light setting (overcast, gloomy days), the result should be clear and crisp. I'm looking to get an iPhone 15 Pro for its LiDAR capabilities, which would greatly improve quality of the scans. Love this app!

Tried out Polycam on a S23 Ultra, the U.I is good and it's a simple process to stat capturing. I took 53 photos and uploaded, selected full quality processing, it took 15 minutes If you have a PC with a decent CPU/GPU....You can simply use Reality Capture ( Which is free through Unreal Game Launcher) to do the same thing as this app. The difference is, Reality Capture costs nothing, there is no photo limit and 53 photos would be processed in about 2 minutes.

Solid on s22 Ultra. Good workflow for metahumans. EDIT: The processing failures still result in the use of a scan credit, so be intentionally about your scans... EDIT: App is now scuffed for s22 ultra for some reason (just like scaniverse). Cannot get a successful completed scan of anything in any size. Processing failure leads to retry, which drains your scan credits.

Stuck at opening on google pixel 8 pro. i used this app on iOS devices without problems and it is impressive. However, whenever I install it on an Android device it won't start at all. i get stuck at the opening screen for minutes until I give up using it.
