I really like the convenience of using this device. My biggest complaint is battery drain. Android Auto runs in the background, well after ending my car ride. The net result is high battery drain until I kill the process. I don't get a similar battery drain when connecting directly to the head unit via USB. If there app could do a better job of ending the Android Auto session and battery drain I will update my review.

AA Wireless on my 2016 F150 and Google Pixel 9 Pro isn't all that. CP works in developer mode. BUT: 1. Audio and Video are out of sync. 2. It uses your Wifi and Bluetooth wireless connections. 3. Any powerful electrical source such as power lines, cell towers and radio towers knock it off line and it reboots. This happens 3-4 times on my 30m commute. Very frustrating!

I want to like this and had heard good overall tech reviews. However, the connection is not consistent I have constant drops of connection. Music playing will stop for 2-3 seconds then resume. Directions from maps is the same. I have the receiver and phone fairly close and not in a pocket or bag, it's out and close to the receiver.

I've been using it for 10 months, and there's been zero issues... works just like my Pioneer with AA wireless worked. EXCEPT - I came out and it didn't connect because my saved password is gone...? I was traveling and didn't have it handy - I don't have it memorized because I only needed it on initial setup. If it was because of an update, okay, let us know in advance or ask us to update it manually.

Used to work great. Now it disconnects randomly every time I drive. Sometimes multiple disconnects in a row. I've noticed it happens in the same physical locations every time. Must be something interfering with the connection. Also, sometimes it won't automatically reconnect and I have to reset the whole thing and install as if it were a new device. I honestly haven't even been using this anymore, I've just been plugging my phone in via USB. The disconnects are too frequent. Hope they fix this

It worked flawlessly the first time, now it works when it feels like it! Basically, it connects to Android Auto when it feels like it! This shouldn't be a problem. You get in your car and it should reconnect, that's it, you shouldn't have to wait a minute or two for reconnection. The previous update through it out of place, waiting for another update!

it works great most of the time but in certain locations of the city it'll cut out and restart constantly until I'm past that intersection. Edit: I've had many firmware updates since this review. So far since the last update, it hasn't been cutting out anymore. I assumed since the dongle connected to your phone through Wi-Fi, done buildings with strong Wi-Fi signal might interfere with the connections. But it must've been a bug that they fixed. I will continue to monitor to see

I had experienced some bugs when I first upgraded to my pixel 8. But those have since been mostly resolved. AAW works great most of the time. It occasionally doesn't start (maybe one out of 10 times) so I dropped one star. When that happens I have to pull the AAW USB collection then plug it back in and give our a minute or two to connect.
