The Macs Adventure app makes it easy to relax and enjoy your self-guided adventure with easy-to-use maps, detailed route descriptions and your detailed trip itinerary.

Login with your Macs account details to access: 

- Detailed daily trip itinerary covering all the elements of your Macs trip - accommodation, activity, luggage transfer, equipment hire, and transfer information.
- Outdoor maps with daily route descriptions, elevation profile and a visual track to follow for each day of your adventure - all downloadable for offline use. Simply follow the blue line and track your location using the orange marker. Use ‘Start route’ to track your progress along the trail and get notified if you take a wrong turn, and when you’re near your booked accommodation.
- Track your daily distances, review your route to share with other Macs Adventurers, and share your stats with your friends and family on social media.
- Trip Info – details on the route and region for your trip, plus handy practical tips, all curated by our expert team.

Each downloadable walking or cycling track includes: Macs grading, duration, distance, elevation profile, total elevation gain and loss, a detailed overview, points of interest your accommodations marked on the map, plus reviews of the trail from other Macs Adventurers.

Using the app means have all the info for your trip without needing to carry heavy paperwork. It includes a detailed day-by-day itinerary, daily overview, overnight accommodation details with contact and reservation details, transfers and luggage transfer details with pick-up and drop-off details, equipment hire details, directions to accommodations and services, contact numbers, and detailed practical information on how to get the most from your trip.

A little note:
- Continued use of GPS to track your location can run your iPhone battery life down. We suggest you take a power bank with you for back-up, particularly on longer distances, or where the app will be your only means of navigation.

Currently walking the WHW and for the past 2 days at the end when I stop the app the kilometres say 0.00kms, 8.43 hours. Tried reinstalling but still the same. Very disappointing. Just finished the trip and today's walk which was 24.4 kms, took just on 7 hours and was really tough, came up as 0.00kms and 18.53hrs! Really annoying!!!

Used this on my South Downs Short Break trip on my Android phone. It was super easy to use. Meant I didn't have to worry about map reading or complex route notes. It worked perfectly off line having downloaded my maps. Just follow the blue dot and off you go! Love it. Thanks Macs Adventures.

Insists on updating without the option of carrying on. This has happened TWICE now on Mac hikes when I'm trying to keep my data usage down. Also want the option to delete any downloaded maps that are options I'm not taking. Apart from those complaints it isn't too bad.

This app is great to use while on holiday with Macs Adventure as it has all my documents on it. I can even use it as a map while walking instead of bringing heavy guidebooks or paper maps.

Very Very difficult to use. Your company is now only for techy people. Cannot get into my account. Therefore don't know where I'm staying or even if I owe money. Also limited help. Unpleasant experience.
