It's been a while since I updated my Roadie2, so I connected it to the app and performed the update. Unfortunately the update bricked my device. It does nothing now but blink blue. The App says it's downloading the update, but it doesn't. I raised a ticket with Roadie and they want me to pay a maintenance fee to upgrade my device to the latest version. So I can only assume it was planned obselesnce. If you have a Roadie DO NOT perform any update.

it won't even open on my Google Pixel 7 pro. crashes or hangs every time. edit: holy balls. in the entire 15 years I've had a phone with an app that didn't work, never once have I created a review, the support team read it, fixed the issue, and notified me. next level. good job

UPDATE: I got a Roadie 2. It worked brilliantly for less than 2 weeks, then broke. After some miscommunication, they offered me a Roadie 3. Nice gesture.. thx. It finally came today. It took some doing, but I finally got it to sync with my phone. I can't say if it's better than the Roadie 2, but for the short time I had it the Roadie 2 was awesome. I have to explore the new features. It tunes my 12 string Martin effortlessly, and can store multiple tunings. That's why I got it. ;-)

Just got it in today and tried it out. So cool! One odd thing though. I tried it first on a ukulele with standard tuning and a couple of other tunings and everything was fine until the last two or three tunings. It kept telling me the fourth string was the wrong string and it seemed to be tuning it too high. I'm not worried about it though since standard is where it'll stay. I like how the app is organized. It's a great interface. Time to have some fun.☺️

Devs, Please fix the app, I had no problem before but this latest update broke it. It won't let me connect and if I do it asks me to do a factory reset. I tried to connect my Facebook account and it doesn't work and it force closes. I don't want to factory reset every time I try to connect to it on the app. ( I'm on Android 13 if that helps). Will update once this issue is fixed. I love my roadie 3 but I want to use the app too. Thank you

While the app does a great job, my Roadie 2 has an issue which despite contacting the tech guys, it remains unresolved. My Roadie 2 has an issue which prevents it from tuning the sixth bass string of all my 7 classical guitars, irregardless of key. So I use it to tune 5 out of 6 strings only. Frustrating. Besides this, I love the design, idea and functionality. Been a fan since the original Roadie. After a warranty replacement, the new Roadie2 was everything I expected it to be.

Total rubbish. It won't hold the Bluetooth long enough to sync and you have to switch it on and off a dozen times to get it to link. There are no proper instructions. The tunings you make on the app will transfer to the roadie 2, but will not work - all you get is the error buzz telling you it is out of range. Very very frustrating and disappointing. If you're downloading this app then you have either wasted your money on the main product or you are considering doing so.
