This app frequently crashes despite a recent upgrade to resolve this issue. It is virtually worthless when I need it to work. Update 9/13/2022: This app is still useless most of the time. If I were not required to use it for work, I would delete and never look back. Update 4/8/2023: just uploaded the latest update. Needless to say, app still freezes, can't pull up a chat or start a new one. Looking over other reviews, it is obviously not just my phone.

Awful app. It rarely works correctly. You'll get a notification that you have a message and then it will take hours to show up in your message list. Other times you won't get notifications for messages at all. Can't use emojis or anything else to help convey tone. Mine doesn't automatically capitalize which is a minor yet rather irritating inconvenience. There are other issues too but I feel like what I've stated is more than enough. Quite honestly despise this app.

Awful app, notifications awful. Am I supposed to open the app every 5 mins to see if I get a message? I miss Tiger Text. At least with that application, I can set up high alerts that wouldn't stop ringing until I read the message!

Unable to receive notifications. This happens all the time. It will work for a while and then just stops. The notification timeframe is something hours after you receive the message. Right now, notifications show blocked, and there is no way to change it. This app is not dependable. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.

Does not work. It won't allow me to log in my account. When you click on "Log In" at the bottom right of the screen, a page pops up with 3 options in how to log on: (1) "athenaNet", (2) "Single Sign On" for those with an organization account, and (3) "athenaText" for those who signed up on the mobile app. Since I'm an athenaNet user I tapped on option 1. Loading wheel pops up and quickly disappears, leaving me on the same page. I keep trying and same results. Very disappointing.

Why is the app unable to send notifications. Multiple Android phones in our office are unable to turn notifications on for this app, and that defeats the purpose of the app. The app specifically says "this app does not send notifications". Is not possible for the user to change this within the appz in the notification settings in the phone or within the app settings of the phone. The option is completely greyed out. Why has this been changed? Please fix

Freezes within seconds of opening. It's a race to get the right chat open and scroll to the message I'm looking for before it does. Usually takes multiple tries and force closes.

Just installed app again for android, as has never worked in past; was hoping the glitches had been solved. Unfortunately, no.I cant log in w/ my athena net password; the screen doesnt open up, so I have to log in with my athenatext login/ email every time, which logs me out as soon as I go to "my account". I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and will likely trash it again. For God's sake athena, half the world uses ANDROID and you STILL dont have a working mobile app just for text???? Not to mention the full athena one app has never been offered for android- its 2022 people!
