It's a brilliant idea, but the execution is laughably useless! I have a crystal clear photo of a moth I wanted to identify, the answer it gave was clearly wrong so tried 3 more times & gave me a different answer each time. Tried a picture of a tadpole & it told me it was a ladybird! 🤣 I was going to take a photo of a spider for further testing, but the take a photo option doesn't work at all. Needless to say, I'm deleting the app.

I love the fact that its free but it does not do the service it's supposed to. I took a picture of a bug.... The app said it was a common buckeye ( a moth/ kinda of butterfly). It definitely was not I looked it up even more ask some fb friends because I wondered about this horrible smell coming from this bug found out it was a form of stink bug in Florida that is also known as a dock bug/squash bug. Now when you look at these two pictures of these insects are far apart from each other.

excellent! can either SEARCH their database yourself, OR take a pic, OR pick a photo from your gallery for the app to identify. what I LOVE is that it's FREE! I tried to download apps similar, but they ALL wanted money... then I came across this one! haha I sound like an advertisement, but i really like it.

The scanner on this app doesn't work correctly at all. When it scans a photo of a bug,that's all it'll do...continues to scan. Doesn't stop. I've tried multiple pictures. Dont waste your time

Free, no sub needed, not extremely invasive ads. Works like a charm, though I wish there was more info on the insects however a quick Google fixes that so it's no problem.

Bad at identifying, I put in a clear picture and it came up with something that didn't even look like it. Tried the same image again and it give me a different description that again was wrong. Removing the app.

I can't figure out how it works. I scan the bug but the picture never shows up anywhere. Then the scanner starts the blue circle & doesn't do anything.

Took three pics of same insect to try out this app, each result was different. Also can't see where pics I'd taken are kept, not in my phone's gallery.
