The load times are very slow. Half the time the calander data fails to load and you are left with a blank white screen. The forces me to open and close the app to display it, but again, it's a 50/50 chance this will work. Switching in and out of the app also forces a full reload of calander data which can result in the above issue. When creating an event, there is no option to make it repeating on mobile... why? Although the desktop version works fine. I would not recommend you rely on the app.

I absolutely love the concept of this, but the app itself is a real struggle to use. I haven't been able to get the app to get past the blank loading screen in weeks and trying to use the desktop site on my phone is a pain. Please fix the loading issues then it'll be a solid 5/5 from me. I also wish there was a dark mode

Great tool for college. I set my schedule up on a desktop and then use the app for when I'm on the go. My notifications don't work and sometimes the app stops working and I have to uninstall and reinstall. If they find a way to fix those 2 issues, it's an easy 5/5!

$200 for a yearly subscription is insane. We're college students! I don't have that kind of money. And $20 a month is also insane and adds up to $240 a year! Not including tax. I saw a review say they paid $47 for a year.....that's way more reasonable. Edit: I see how the developer is responding to reviews and they are rude. It is completely possible to set up a planner on mobile, other apps let you do this. I would be willing to pay for your planner, but nowhere near $200.

This is my first year of college, and I first started using Shovel at the beginning of my first semester (I am currently beginning my second semester). I tried the free trial and loved it enough to pay for a lifetime subscription, $47 is not bad for all the features and I figure that money will go toward making the app even better! There's not enough room in this review box to say everything I like about Shovel, but it has been really awesome and unlike any planner I've ever used. :)

This app is extremely useful. I have been using this app since a long time and it has helped me a lot. I am a school student and it helps me to manage my school work really efficiently. The only draw back I noticed was that you cannot add exams which afe an important part of student life. I hope the developers will add the option to add exams. Also the app freezes a bit on the web. Hope you can fix that. Thank you so much for creating such an assisting app. 👍🤗🤗

I've paid lifetime access for shovel and it's by many many leagues the most neat planning program I have ever used. However the app version leaves a lot to be desired. Dark mode and other accessibility options being unavailable for the app, the app UI being mediocre at best, sometimes tasks would glitch out randomly, other options just being completely missing. I wouldn't have paid for the app, I much prefer the website, is the point. good luck to the devs, I know you'll improve the app soon!

I've tried a huge number of apps, as well as online and offline planners and I am so happy I found Shovel. Studying online and not having specific class times means I need to be able to see all of my work and life commitments in one place to see where I can fit in study. It is visually appealing on both phone and desktop and it's really easy to use. I love it.
