I got a dehumidifier that might be a little old, but it's should still be supported, Inventor EVA II PRO Wifi. Works fine as it is, but I wanted to try out "smart" functions. I was not able to add it in the app. Device configuration failed every time, no matter what I did with my home wlan, for compatibility, changed b/g/n modes for 2.4GHz, set the 5Ghz on a separate wlan name, changed encryption settings to also accept old WPA. No go. So, have to put 1 star as this is not usable for me.

Update: The app is fixed and is working flawelessly!!! This app stopped working yesterday and I can't even log-in into it.A pop-up message appears on a screen, showing "8192-The current network is not very good" and I can't sign in. I have no issues with my network,as the same message appears when I'm trying to log-in using my mobile data.

The setup process is seriously broken. The automated pairing never worked. I managed to perform the setup in manual mode in the end, but that's just because I connected phone to the laptop and checked the adb logs. Then I manually connected to home/device WiFi at the appropriate steps. As others mentioned, I had to disable phone data. The manual states that people should chose to forget other WiFi networks for the app to work. You can't seriously ask for this. After setup it seems to work ok

The application still need some work regarding the setup procedure but it seems to work fine so far. QR setup does nothing so made manually. There should be an option to change the default password or I was not able to find it. For those having issues at the last step (stuck at 90%), I had it too. My fault.... I was putting the wrong WiFi password!

This is much improved yet again. (3rd version to my knowledge) It connected first time to an old machine that I was pleased is still supported, the app guided me through the process. I had feed back on %complete so I knew to wait. Don't rush it. It does work eventually. I'd also recommend reading the PDF instructions on the invmate website. We'll done invmate a great app.

If it works, it kinda gets the job done. This app has a will of its own, if it decides that it had enough work for the day, then lucky you! You get to use the remote! All jokes aside though, this app is unreliable. It's slow, and it gets stuck on login (even on high end devices and fast internet, restarting the device doesn't help). Fix your app guys and gals, give some more "cheese" to your programmers, its a pity to receive hate and lose clients because of lazy coding and cheap servers.

i changed the home router and the app is not working anymore. it doesn't login successfully. i tried to open sone ports on the firewall configuration but it's still not working. On the inventor website depending on the page you open different port numbers are listed. Buggy, not working, not smart at all products. keep away from this garbage.

UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVED My Wi-Fi configuration had only 2.4g/n modes enabled. After trying different setups, it worked directly as asson as I also enabled b/g/n --- After changing my home router the AC (Inventor Premium 12) never connected to the WiFi again. I can successfully enter AP mode but the setup hangs at the last step of 99% where phone re-connects to home WiFi network. (It connects to the proper one). Also no mobile data on as other users have stated... So unusable for the time being
