The game is relaxing, and I enjoy it more than the others. But it is the red-headed stepchild of the 3 games, which is surprising since it's the paid version. The number of patterns released is smaller than the other 2. More info needs to be added to the FAQ. It's not a popular game, so it's hard to find information on it. I wish that new and more patterns were released and things like the challenges explained better on the FAQ.

I love this game. It's beautiful and peaceful and Id play this for hours at a time if I had that kind of time. My thing is, is there anything else that you can add to this game? Maybe create an add on to do something with the dragons we collect? Maybe have the pond we had with the free version? I payed for unlimited slots but on the flip side this version is more basic than the free version. It's a great app but there needs to be something a little more to be worth the price.

This really is the optimal zen koi experience to me. The barriers to collecting fish have been almost entirely eliminated, namely the excessively stingy/expensive koi slots and limited egg list/extreme hatch times from the two previous games. Instead, I can just play when I feel like it, for as long as I like. I admit I don't understand why the decorative pond and the dragon swimming could not be incorporated in this version. That's really all that's holding me back from 5 stars.

I was trying to decide which of the 3 available games I wanted to play and chose this one since it was a Pro paid version. I assumed that meant it would have the most content but I was very disappointed. There are multiple features that are available in the free version that are missing in this one! Ascending is 2 levels easier, you can't add friends and can't see what are the possible pattern outcomes of a breeding pair! Also, the last update was 10 months! It's not worth the money.

I love this game, I played the original and the second one, but could never convince myself to finish them. But this one I'm all for! Not having to wait for eggs and easily sorting through koi emphasizes the relaxing no-pressure nature of this game. Full completion feels attainable and that's exactly what I'm looking for in this kind of game! Any bugs I've noticed are always fixed and improved by the developers. Thank you guys so much! Favorite mobile game EVER!

Really enjoying this version as it is low stress. Full disclosure: I got this on sale soon after it was released. This version is Zen Koi stripped to its essence: fish swimming, eating other fish, & mating. I like the 3d visualization of the fish & their pond. I like not having to think about how many slots I have left or how slowly pearls (in-game currency) can be collected. None of the versions ever forced one to watch ads, but not being prompted to watch an ad is great! Thanks, devs!

I love it, but I want to be able to design my own pool like in other versions and move all my fish to that pond so I can mingle & breed them. Also would expect the more unique designs to be an achievable option like in other versions. Love the low stress offline option, but for $10 I would expect more. They seem to have stripped away too much.

Editing my review to add more: I absolutely adore this version of the game. I have all three and they are all fabulous. I wish they'd make a pro version of the second one! I'd love to have the features of this game but still have a pond and the option of sending fish to friends. Way worth the purchase price, coming from someone who never EVER pays for things on the app store lol. Way to go devs, I will happily pay to continue to support these wonderful games!
