The primary reason for the app besides setting up and controls for the camera... Is the pictures. I've been having a problem sharing images via text or email. I get "the check out this image" text, but photo won't attach. It worked fine till last update (worked before). Also, I have a pretty hard time zooming in on the images in app. It takes effort to pinch\zoom to finally zoom in to the target animal, and it's not due to my ability or device, everything else with a zoom capability works fine.

It was better before the update. I'm not sure why it was necessary to remove the option to directly download photos to my cell phone. It's annoying to have to go back to the laptop to download and save photos. The app doesn't share photos with Google Photos either. Removing ways to manage photos that were available previously isn't helpful. Update, gave it one star more. I can still download videos directly to my phone.

Doesn't share pictures. Also, the picture quality is really poor. The camera is capable of better pictures, and when you used to order high-resolution pictures, they took like 5 of your picture count. What a ripp off. I can't order hi res pictures now.Last update messed up the app. Look elsewhere for your camera needs. I can not recommend moultrie Edge 2 camera. Paid good money, it's a waste of money. Will not buy them again. They've gone downhill from what they used to produce.

See where app now has weather, wind, temp readings. However, go to app to select my hunt location for wind direction....NOTHING happens when I press option for wind directions.??? Is app still a work in progress. Now things are better after update done to improve mobile app functions. Have say Moultrie is spearheading way cellular camera market... Updated my review!!! What is Moultrie thinking as of 11.09.24 i can NO LONGER share via the app/share(was helpful as I could send pic to lease owners

November 6 update broke sharing images. Used to be able to go to image click share, it would "prepare image for sharing" you'd click on the message for the person you wanted to send it and it would move the image to the messenger app and populate there where you could type your text and send. The image no longer moves over. To share an image you have to take a screenshot now and share that. Attempted a cashe clear and app reset to no help. Update broke sharing.

Worked great for a month. Now I don't get notifications. Started as a 15 minute lag then a few hours, now nothing. Physically open the app now in order to see photos taken. Not sure what to do. The whole point was so I didn't need to go up and pull cards. Isn't looking like Moultrie won't be getting any more of my money very soon.

The camera worked great last season. I restored my subscription this year at the beginning of bow season. the camera booted up and took pictures as normal. In the past week, the camera, quit checking in, quit sending notifications for pictures and when it did take pictures, they were just black photos. Moultrie has gone from a decent cell camera to just trash. I'm going to run the rest of my subscription for the month. if they can't fix the issues, I'm going to a different system

Can no longer download pictures from app to phone nor send them via text message. The download button doesn't even appear anymore. Customer service isn't answering messages despite being during their open hours. Moultrie mobile seems to be in steady decline every year, might be time for a switch.
