Love this app! Weather and forecasts are usually spot on. Love the summary feature that describes everything in a paragraph. Everyone just asks me for screenshots instead of using their own weather apps. Tons of cool features and ways to visualize and organize the data. I wish of could think of something constructive to add but I really can't at the moment. 5 stars! Ps. I asked a question in the support portal and they got back to me same day and answered my question! Great support and team!!

Outstanding weather app (and companion online service). Highly accurate local forecasts, tailored to snowsports and summer mountain activities. They have recently expanded the service to provide world-wide local weather forecasting (with useful hour-by-hour views, precip predictions, etc.). I have been a satisfied subscriber for more than five years -- and it gets better and more useful all the time. It is now my go-to weather app for all purposes.

Fantastic! Informative, always improving its technology. you are doing just fine without AI; although, AI could spit out texts based on the available data that may be more user-friendly for some people. However, not if causing major price increase. Keep up the expert and friendly work.

This is an awesome app worth every penny. The UI is great, and the forecaster updates are excellent. I love all the fine details included in efficient places of the UI. It's super helpful to have the avalanche forecast linked to the weather forecast, too. It's a great one-stop shop. I will be recommending this app to my students in avalanche courses going forward.

Best all-around ski app out there, maybe my favorite for weather in general. Trails on an interactive map with tons of useful colored layers. Forecasts and conditions broken down any which way you want. Very surprising feature is the ability to click on the map and get a projected forecast for any specific spot in a second. Human commentary is a nice cherry on top - reminds me of Space City Weather.
A Google User
Over time this app has had less to offer without paying for it. I upgraded to premium and then it got more expensive. Cancelled my subscription and even less was available than before. To top it off for the past few years the ski resort has been grossly exaggerating the new snow amount. Their own cameras will be bare and they report 4". Also, a simple banner ad would be preferred by the users instead of a $30 fee

OpenSnow is one of my favorite apps, and it keeps getting better over the years. Definitely worth the subscription! I love the daily snow forecast discussions, charts forecasting snow by day across resorts, and the snow stake cams to see whether snow fell after lift close or to get a sneak peek before the official report. The new weather station data on the map is really handy and gives a quick overview of actual recent snowfall which helps pinpoint the best snow for backcountry skiing too.

The forecasts with all their detail and explanations single-handedly make this app worth it, even if you just need it for one resort. The forecasters do a great job of breaking down storm systems and showing effective maps, much better than just looking at the NOAA data and trying to figure it out yourself.
