Not so great with backend service. Takes ages to load and fools around scanning the document. The developer who wrote the code would have misplaced "or" with "and" to fill out the details. What's the point to scan the document when user enters them manually? 😬. I prefer to fill out details over web browser than through this app. At the least I like the UI sophistication overall in the app

This app is quite data-hungry. It requires a lot of private data from you. Also, once you checked in, you can't edit it anymore. It's also not obvious whether the digital key work (it's greyed out, guess I will have to figure out once there) and it's also not obvious how to install it on more than one device.

Shared my info on the app, and suddenly I am being targeted by scams from Hungarian emails/calls. I am not sure that the info is safe on the app, as i rarely share the info the app requests and the scammer are in posession of. Unfortunately one is only wiser afterwards. Best I can do is warn others not to use GuestAdvisor. Correlation does not equal causation, but this is one hell of a coincidence.

This app is absolute GARBAGE. The UI is awful and the info requests are strange (a mandatory Maiden Name field for a man?) and confusing (why do you need my mother's full name + maiden name? Twice?). The ID scan feature is utterly broken. I wasted over 2 hours, and had to use 3 phones before it finally worked, and even then with bugs and errors. I'll never, ever again book any accommodation that uses this app, and will advise anyone else to do the same. What a 🤬 stressful start to our trip 😡!

Bad UX. I entered all my details, and then it forced me to scan my ID. After scanning my ID, all the details I entered earlier were gone. At least it's not completely unusable, like their website. The website didn't even allow me to enter a second guests, each time I saved the form, the guest list simply didn't update.

The app isn't really user friendly. I don't think you have considered one of the top use cases. Usually the host requires check in a day before arrival. And one of the use cases is that not all persons booking the place are living together, so they don't have everybody's passports at disposal for scanning. If I understood the intention of scanning is to help with populating data and it should not be mandatory. I am not allowed to finish the check in until I scan all my friends passports.

Hi5 apartment was so clean, neat, tidy and absolutely sparkling. The photos on their website is exactly what it is inside. Amenities were 5 to 7 star, location was so perfect: right in the heart of the city, walking distance to all public transport. Absolutely thrilling. I think we couldn't ask for more. More than highly satisfying expérience. Viks

this app is the worst user experience ever. it's so buggy, it lags like crazy and I do not trust that they can store data safely when all the front end items are so awful. I would give this a zero stars if I could. AVOID.
