TWICE now, my Tempdrop has "needed a replacement" just outside the warranty window. The first time it made sense, the second time however it was working great, then they updated the sensor/app and it won't sync without having to restart my phone and clear the cache. So according to them I need a new sensor (bought one in March 2023, so it's 1yr 7months old). Items like this should have longevity, but it seems like they're trying to do what phone companies do and make their tech break too soon.

There are better FAM apps. While I LOVE my TempDrop device & have used it for years, I can't use the app outside syncing. I recently tried the Premium option (again) thinking a recent update would offer more. I was disappointed to see Fertility Awareness no longer an option for Purpose of Use (only Pregnancy, TTC, & Know my Body modes). The algorithm still doesn't properly analyze temps, even w LH & CM data, to interpret ovulation. I will stick w Natural Cycles & manual tracking.

Update: <6 months later and another forced update. Why can I not use an old version? Surely the "security" isn't that bad on old ones? Forced an update without warning then made me reset a password. I thought tempdrop would make going easier but this requires more time. I understand occasional updates but it's the updating & resetting on top of being slow to launch & regularly disconnecting from Bluetooth. It all adds up to be underwhelming.

I generally love this app but today the app is getting stuck either on the loading screen or on the data privacy screen. No matter which option I choose, it never gets past the data privacy screen. I'm hopeful this negative review will get the engineer's attention and they fix it. I'll update my review once this issue is resolved, hopefully before the temp drop starts overwriting data.

Vastly overrated. Tempdrop makes huge claims about how easy it is to use, but fails to deliver by providing reliable temperatures. If you rely on BBT for NFP, use something else. A simple basal thermometer may be more work, but it's far more accurate and reliable.

I like that it syncs with the armband, but there are some major flaws. My cycle is longer than 28 days and yet every month it tells me that I miss my period and it's late. Every woman's cycle is different and only accommodating a 28 day cycle is not inclusive. After I updated the app, it asked me the date of my last period, but wouldn't let me go back more than 28 days. I am very surprised an app for women would be so rigid in assuming everyone has a 28 day cycle. Please change this, Tempdrop

I have had the product for 3 days, and I opted to pay for the sleep subscription. On the first night, no data was collected. The second night everything seemed to be working well. Woke up this morning and the app isn't working... Not a great start.

Great app to go along with an incredible wearable thermometer tool to help track body temperature and overall periods and fertility. I recommend the Tempdrop FB group too. Great support in there from other TD users to answer questions and support each other
