Just installed the vitoconnect 100. Crazy setup for sure. Setup and app setup needs work to simplify. I have a good understanding of networking, so that made it a bit easier. The App , well useless i think. Very limited information. Lacks email, text, or push notifications for boiler errors etc.. Honesty i am scratching my head in disbelief. Since installed my vitocrossal 300 CUA, and programmed it , i know Viessman had a smart engineers. They need to talk to each other.

Just installed new Vitocrossal-199 CU3a and Large Vitocell. Love the boiler. I am quite disappointed with VICare by comparison. I want remote-control of full boiler User Interface from my phone- all features and functions. VICare is not full access to boiler controls. Useless unless you want to see local temperature. If you want to access boiler menus, make edits or change shift and slope for heating circuit or zone control - forget it. There are several 'VITOTROL PLUS apps available, all crashed my Samsung S7 Same comments from others confirming this. VITOTROL features is what I want. GREAT BOILER - REALLY INADEQUATE VICare application

Go back to the drawing board folks and make this user friendly I have been up and down the stars to my basement several times - the installer should be sure this is done before leaving the premises and your process requires a complete overhaul. I have just wasted a great deal of time and can't complete the process. Technology is not my strength but you have tested it. I failed

I have used this app for 3 years since new boiler was installed. I had always viewed the app as adequate but not great with time and temperature programming less flexible than I would have liked. However, in the latest update they have deleted the 'Days at home' quick option that allowed a simple boost from set background temperature to normal temperature if, for example, your plans changed and you were working from home. I am now looking to swap control to a smart thermostat.

Good app, good boiler. I like them. Outside temp history v useful to get the curves settings to match the house & weather. There is a bug in the outside temperature history. It's a day out (shows today's values as yesterday's). Needs to show more boiler history (2 yrs & 24m back). The Annual consumption display is aligned to calendar years, which isn't helpful. I'd prefer it was rolling years back. Then I could compare like-for-like. I would also like a way to download consumption data as CSV.

Too often the app doesn't connect check email if a server is down but I never received email. think I'll have to get a hard wired controller so I can adjust my boiler. 3 /2/2023 .server down all day. all working again thank you. 10/11/24 app not working again

If you're installing a new boiler, make sure that you have a separate email account because my partner signed up on his email, and guess what. The app logged me out, and I couldn't log back in! So now I have to wait for my partner to get home, otherwise if I turn on the heating it will go into over drive because he set it at a temperature higher than normal and because the boiler wants to achieve that temperature very quickly it's forcing the boiler, this boiler will fail at this rate!

Wasting my time in trying to add a 050-W in this application. I can see the boiler on my router but after setting the wifi and password to connect, I get on display a 0 followed by E1. Funny thing is that the Wifi led is pulsating white and app is giving me to chose between yellow and red for troubleshooting.
