Uodated!!!! I downloaded the app again today because it looked like they went back to a previous version. It's working again. Thanks!!! 11/10/24. This worked great for me until the last few days. I can't login and the app crashes. The app closes and says it has a bug. Can you please fix it?

The app worked for awhile. There were always connectivity issues but for the most part it was okay. Then one day it quit working. The icons looked different so there was probably an update. Support gave some advise but nothing helped. After a couple of weeks they told me to contact their technical engineers. No one ever responded. I asked about getting a new device since it is under warranty, although I think the problem is the app. No one has responded to me. Bad app, bad support.

Doesnt work- we synced the app to the camera correctly, it connected for 10 seconds and then never connected again. Beware you need to give the app alot of excessive permissions including to install subsidiary files which leaves the question of whether or not this is just an insecure connection with a camera pointed at or near your property. It is now just an expensive bird feeder that never worked. To be honest after watching this for 20 minutes the birds are just eating off the ground

There are some very cool features with the app, but none of them work consistently and some of them don't work at all. The camera is about 10 feet from a high speed router, but it insists it has a poor connection at all times. Viewing the live feed or saved video clips from the app has stopped working completely. Sometimes the notifications work, other times not. The bird identification tool is far more hit than miss (this morning I was apparently visited by a Dodo).

Works with the bird feeder. I needed a signal extender since the feeder is at the end of the deck. I found that I needed to connect it to the extender rather than the main router. Sensitivity is tricky. It sometimes captures branches moving in the wind and heavy rain. Software is confusing. Videos automatically saved to the SD card cannot be downloaded through the software, only viewed. The card needs to be removed and read on a PC. Screen captures and live recorded video can be saved.

Put the birdfeeder up outside yesterday. It in only about 15 feet from the Wi-Fi. The app takes forever to make the connection to the feeder and then will drop out from time-to-time and it goes through the reconnection process again. It is catching videos of the birds under the events and the quality of the video is very good. The instructions are very much lacking. For example, I'm not sure what all I have in the way of controls for the video playback. How do I go forward/backward? What do those red vertical lines mean? I'm guessing it the the motion detected time. I was also under the impression this app was to identify the birds by species that it was able to take pictures of. I was expecting something better for the price of this birdfeeder.

Very hard to connect. My feeder is located close to my router, but still drops all the time. Cannot download files. I believe it just deleted all my files. So you can't download the birds, then it deletes them. I would say this is quite pricy vs. performance. Buy a $10 feeder and just watch them.

I installed this app to work with the BirdDock hummingbird feeder. It takes decent stills and video when manually selected. However It does not auto record video. That's the primary reason I bought the camera. I ended up returning everything to Amazon. it's really a shame because the camera and feeder appear to be well built, but the app is so bad.
