Really nice, smoothly executed, and I'm learning rather than just wasting time on another game. A niggle: Vim can do the same thing in multiple ways, and sometimes I don't think "wrong" answers are really wrong, but forget the score and learn from the explanations.

Makes a lot of fun, but some answers are not unique, or the hints are not unique

Really helps you mastering vim. Extremely helpful and no ads. UI is not stunningly beautiful but very functional. Visual cues for the different answer choices would enhance learning effect even further

Good mix of puzzles. Sometimes I can't tell from the explanation why I am wrong ;a picture of the result of each answer could help when the text description sounds like it would produce the right result

Beautiful! Especially useful to learn new commands (e.g. gg=G). Minor criticism: sometimes the explanation doesn't fit the command string. It would be more sensible to kinda "parse" the explanation instead of prewriting it, having a list of done stuff [g "go to", g "first line", = "indent until", G "EOF"] . That way you would be able to learn to "speak vim" better.

Very cool if you already know and use Vim enough or as your favorite text editor. Only annoying thing is that the ESC key (or ) is represented with it's "control keybind" which is ok I think. Just personal taste. Very cool though, and a fun way to learn new Vim tricks and testing your knowledge.

While the idea is great, the app is rendering the letters in a way that makes it very hard to read. There's basically no space between the letters at all.

I actually find this pretty entertaining. I don't normally like these kinds of games, but this one has taught me a couple of new vim commands and the puzzle aspect of the hard questions is pretty good. Now throw in some viml maybe? :)
