this is just what I needed: instant push headline news notification from multiple choice sources. brief and efficient. Update 9/10/24: apparently push notifications are no longer working, significantly reducing functionality and timeliness of the app. It still has the news, but it just works as a headline aggregator now, need to find a replacement. Considering lack of updates since 2022 this should have been expected.

Thanks for keeping this app alive! This has been my go to breaking news app for years now. I would like to see an option to remove adds and a darker night theme (I feel the black text on gray background isn't very pleasant to read---the previous version of this app had a completely dark background which worked better). Still, if you're looking for a lightweight but powerful news app with a good amount of sources look no further!

Thank you for the re-release!!!! I love this app & rely heavily on it!!! Here's to many more downloads!! Please include more News Sources from all over the world and languages, I personally wish to receive alerts from Arabic sourcds such as Annahar, MTV Lebanon which have push notifications on their apps too. Update: the widget doesn't seem to function, I suggest you either delete it or make a fun wall st ticker style widget

It all its various versions, the Android Breaking News app has always been my go-to for breaking news headlines. I've never found another app that matches its simplicity and ease of use. Kudos to the developer for providing a useful service.

CNN news I was blocked out of. Screen kept going dark after a second of viewing. Pointless having it there listed. Screen also kept going all white when an article was tried to open. Uninstalled.

This is currently a one-star app, but I'm giving it three stars based on the past and what I know it can be. It's a five-star app normally, but with notifications no longer working, the app is almost useless.

i love your app and use it for a while. it worked good till yesterday. Since yesterday it has stopped adding new news. At this moment, the last news published is 14 hours ago. Please help me fix it. 🙏

Worked well for a little over a week and now hasn't updated in almost 18 hours again. 3/14 App suddenly stopped updating and has not updated at all in almost 16 hours.
