Hello, long time fan of the show, been watching on twitch for years, but since the price is going up I've made the switch. However, this app makes my phone run really hot and uses a lot of battery. It would be greatly appreciated if you would work to optimize the app, my galaxy s22 ultra shouldn't be having issues running a video streaming app and dying after about 5 or 6 hours instead of lasting 10-12 hours and not running hot. I can stream cloud games for hours without killing my phone.

This app is great! Finally I can get Critical Role content immediately without supporting twitch! Here are my suggestions to improve the app 1. When watched on the website the ratio is too large for the screen. I have to full screen it to see the whole video. 2. It would be nice to have an indication marker on the videos you have already watched 3. The app crashes a lot 4. When I'm done watching a video you should show me some more options to watch. Ex: the next Ep, cool down, 4 sided dive.

Love CritRole, love the content, and love the concept. Happy to support them directly. HOWEVER, the app definitely needs improvement... 1) Ability to control playback from lock screen. 2) Ability to control playback from drop down status & notification menu 3) Ability to control playback with headphones (attempting to just starts and stops music app, even playing over beacon's audio) 4) improvement to episode progress recall 5)Battery optimization 6)Ability to download/ schedule auto downloads.

Love critical role and the app is a good way to get their content without going through youtube, however running this app in the background will kill your battery. In 4 hours i've gone from 90% to 24%. Both Youtube and dropout running videos in the background don't drain it nearly as much. Picture in picture is also hilariously broken. It'll maintain portrait view but the video is still landscape in that, while in picture in picture. Its ridiculous to try and use this while working.

Love that CR has their own app and I don't need to subscribe to Twitch anymore. Unfortunately, the app is pretty buggy. Most of the time it won't even play the video. Sometimes trying a different one will work, but usually I just give up after 10 tries of opening and closing the video. When it does work, the app doesn't remember where I left off so I have to hunt around for it. EDIT: Videos are playing now, but a weird thing happens sometimes where I tap the full screen button and the app closes

This is so cool! Few bugs to report- when I put the video to full screen and flip it landscape mode it's ok, but then when I flip it back to regular the video messes up by either not flipping back into the smaller player or will still be a full-size video in the small window. When I click on the cast button to cast it to a TV, it doesn't pull up any devices. (I am sure they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network) The video player doesn't remember my spot on the last thing I was watching.

App video quality is great and the concept is there however, there are a lot of problems. It decimates the devices battery even when playing in the background with no picture. The app often glitches and I lose basic menu options. The continue watching menu just disappears and you have to reinstall to get it back. It's mostly quality of life issues. When these things start changing and getting fixed I will score it higher.

The app would be cool except that i can't log in to it about 3/4 of the time, i keep getting error messages. No matter how many times i report it to support, i get the same response to clear my cache or try uninstalling and reinstalling. I usually have to do that about 10-20 times before it will let me log in again. And then a few days later i get the same big preventing me from logging in. It's been more of a pain getting into the app and not worth using it.
