I am having some vision issues in my old age and feel that slightly larger numbers and fonts on the main screen would make the controls more visible. Other than this, this is a pretty fine metronome. The presets for pipers are hugely helpful when learning a new tune from scratch, and are great for finding and solving issues in your rhythm control along the way.

For the price of a chanter reed, I just downloaded the best metronome I've ever used. VG for beginners and experts, bands and soloists. Creating a click track for a band set is easy, as all our standard tune formats are already programmed into the app. You can pinpoint specific measures and beats of a click track easily as well as quickly altering the tempi. The pulse function for solo-style 2/4 marches and strathspeys is huge. I've never seen this feature in another metronome. Thanks!

I would love to give this app 5 stars, but it's nearly impossible to set the tempo! You have a slider that jumps 10bpm every time you lift your finger, or a +/- that goes by 1/3 bpm. The Tap feature seems to work OK, but as a new piper, I need to dial it in. Also, the bpm numbers are so small my eyes can't read them. If the tempo interface were improved, I'd happily pay the $20 they nag you for. Suggestion: make the slider 3x as big, have it slide in 5bpm increments, use +/- for single bpm.

I've been creating click tracks for myself using all sorts of workarounds but this makes it so much easier! Pulsing is another great option. Definitely recommend to all my students. Only negative would be that it's a little difficult to delete a tune/part/bar within a set if I accidentally add one.

Bull The Winkle SF Moose

For use with a practise chanter this unique metronome does it all and is an invaluable tool to learn the unique time signatures and accents for bagpipes. Sadly for use with the big pipes it does NOT have a strobe light feature and so one can not hear or see and u just have to go find a fun bass drummer. Other metronomes costing less than 5 dollars offer strobe feature for each beat on iPhones and first beat on Android. Oddly Android phones are harder to do screen strobe or camera strobe

Great App so far, only been messing around with it for about a week now. But its that extra kick in the behind that some of us need to keep our tempos up and steady, so that we can keep the music lively. Lots of features to make the expression stand out as much or as little as possible. I like the "level" system for the tempos, gives a person some goals to shoot for tempo wise. Thanks for this Devs, a metronome just for pipers! (and maybe drummers??)

This metronome is brilliant. A standard metronome just gives the left right left right beat. With the settings of this metronome and pulsing my playing so far seems a bit more relaxed when it comes to the holds and cut notes. The music seems to be coming through better. The 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 timings beatings are more controlled when animated like with this metronome.

Great app, use it daily.. One suggestion for an upgrade/ firmware update: The BPM selector...have it able to be clicked on. 3 columns of numbers would appear and can be pressed easily. (Like setting an alarm on a phone) I use this app connected to an amp both at home and with the band. It would be nice to easily click the bpm I want when I change tunes in a medley for eg Cheers Grant London Ontario
