would be good, but it's just a literal discount balatro, no new ideas or anything to mix up on the formula. the worst thing is that after you finish each round you get prompted with a 5 second ad followed by waiting 5 more seconds to close the ad. It costs 3 dollars to "unlock" the no ad version but balatro is coming out on Sept 27,so no reason to install this game.

I've heard of Balatro but never got the hype on whether it was worth buying, so imagine my surprise when I found this app. It basically plays the same but the first few minutes is an unskippable tutorial, ads after every blind to a point & the jokers are just weird gremlin monsters, which seems like false advertising. BUT this game did introduce me to the addictive nature that is Balatro, so I give this one one star above what it deserves. (I've logged +100 hours in 3 weeks someone please help)

Blatant clone of Balatro. Down to the jokers, taro and planet cards. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't have the following issues. Tutorial plays every single time you try to play the first few levels. It doesn't correctly track the number of times you've played a hand. So some cards are worthless. You can't review the deck when choosing taro cards. If you get too high of a score. The game will integer overflow and cause you to have a negative score. There's more but can't fit it in.

If you want to play a worse, less polished, watered down balatro, this is your game... This game copied everything balatro did but worse, down to the uis, tarot cards, hand scoring, planet cards. But they left out a lot of stuff and didnt make up for it by putting anything original in its place. Horrible game, do not download.

after playing until the version of this game's blue deck, I can confidently say that this sucks. this has got to be the most watered down version of balatro i have ever played. really makes you realize that balatro's really polished. do NOT play this. do NOT waste your precious time on this thing. even if it's for laughs and giggles. that's how terrible this is.

Balatro stripped down to its absolute basics. This might as well just be a Poker simulator. No shop, so no actual strategy, just mindlessly playing hands one after the other. Not like if it was fully-featured it would deserve more than 1 star, anyway. Intellectual property theft never gets more than 1 star.

I can't play the ad-free version on another phone since there is no option to restore purchase. I have emailed the devs several times but they don't answer. It has some bugs too, some tutorials get stuck and I have to restart the game. It's a pitty since this seems to be the best Balatro clone for mobile, with big visible fonts.

You know why you're here. The official one is coming out on the 26th anyways. The visuals aren't as finely tuned as Balatro, the art is either stolen or low quality. Really reminds you how finely tuned the original is. The deck seems like it has some heavy weight that can be shifted into an out of your favor. It's painfully noticable.
