There is no option to stop this from automatically popping up. You can't delete it without it affecting the phone itself. There are way too many unused apps that can't be removed in the phones now. I have extra storage from an SD card, new device and am out of storage because of useless apps like this one and if you try to pull up a story you have to watch an ad.

Very disturbing ad pop-ups. If I want to continue reading a story. There becomes a popup ad for games. The other thing you have to wait out a clocked ad. I usually close the app. Lately if an ad pops up I click out of the app of metro zone. Give an escape to read further without interrupting the story. Very poor, I disable the app, but it still pops up as soon as as I unlock my screen, and it really seems like the apps is pushing political "preference" Do what you like. but when I hit the disable button or force stop or clear data and cache It will force itself back onto my phone pretty ridiculous it's the first thing I see on my phone wasn't like this until a certain time frame for our country kinda wierd...

Super annoying app. Not an actual newsfeed, it's an aggregator. So once you tap through the triple interstatial ads you have to click READ MORE to get to the actual story on a different website. Huge waste of time! impossible to uninstall even though it offered opt-in. There ought to be a class action lawsuit over this app.

Trying to take over my phone I think it's a virus that's pre-installed on these Metro phones cuz they know when it starts using up your battery and it starts using up your storage that you're going to run right down and get an upgrade I've been a Metro T-Mobile I've been a MetroPCS for more than 15 years every time this app starts to appear it's not long before I need a new phone

Uninstall it! It doesn't do anything bad to your device, and the pain will stop. I have found no side effects from uninstalling metro zone. Be brave, and empty your cashe, delete your data, and uninstall the app if you don't like it. I have met folks who like their daily briefing, as they (my friend) refers to it. I don't, so I made it go away. Best of luck cutting those chains.

If I wanted news, I would go watch the news or look up news. I like having the option to choose. What I don't like is having something crammed down my throat, being forced to look at something I already dislike, popping up non-stop. What nonsense. There's not a single control to adjust settings or anything!!!??? Why? I've had this phone for one day and already I want to throw it in a lake!

Just a little advice as a metro phone user, no one wants to see advertisements as soon as they unlock their phone. This is the first thing I see every single time I open my phone and its very annoying! I don't care to see the news much less multiple times a day. Also you're advertisements are extremely biased, one sided opinions in regards to politics. You're consistently advertising hit pieces, clearly you all are being paid to do so and I want no part of it. Biased media is the absolute worst
