No real customizations except for black vs white background. Available messages are pre loaded and some are very specific, like business websites. But I can only choose an existing one and can not create my own. No ability to add images of any kind. Little bit of a let down when you spend this much on a plate. update. annual subscriptions are horrible.

Not bad at all.. I mean talking about the app itself is decent. Still does need work but regarding your personalized message,they have pre made ones ..don't know what the images part is about. From what I was told from support. If you want your own personalized message on the plate... You'd have to email support so they can approve the message if I remember this correctly... But the License plate itself is awesome! Get compliments here and there which is cool... To the digital life!

Had it for two years. For two years in a row, I couldn't get support to do the vehicle registration through the app. Virtual Field Office DMV is more help than these guys. BOTTOM LINE: They don't care. They won't troubleshoot for you. They just collect the monthly dues for the piece of tech. Yeah, the plates look really good, but that's about it. If you're thinking that this will simplify registration, you are completely wrong about that. They don't have the infrastructure to handle more people.

App force closes on Android 9 stock firmware running on an unlocked Samsung galaxy Note 10+. I have 3 of these phones and all 3 have the same behavior. Luckily I have access to an iPad and was able to log in but I don't drive around with the iPad so this solution is unacceptable. I've sent in error logs and reached out directly to the support team via email, so I've done all I can do at this point. I'll follow up with this once I get some more information from the company.

I'm one of the original plate owners in the pilot in CA and now have on two of my cars. Very awesome, yes it was first fornlooks as I hated yellow letters on black plates and now I have a white car that the black on white looks good on too. No problems, excellent customer service. I want my SACRAMENTO KINGS logo though! ;) Great job, I wish you all continued success!!

I have no problems with the app or the plate. I think it's awesome. I feel while some may have legititmate complaints, most are being unfair. The release notes say the app is for Android 10 or better so those with Android 9 are complaining the app doesnt work? Also, it currently says on the Reviver website that the State of California is not currently accepting new requests for personalization, not Revivers fault. I feel the security benefits outwiegh personalization.

So far been a decent app no problems plate works great, just waiting for more customization availability! I would recommend for the convenience of saving time and the hassle of registration at the mvd, especially when you travel a lot like I do. (ARIZONA)

It cannot update to the new registration image. The costumer service resolved the issue in the end by replacing the Rplate. Still, not a good experience: the one time that it absolutely needs to be updated, it failed.
