Laggy interface, 4 out of 5 times the app is unable to connect to the charger. and if it gets in contact, you need to switch tabs to get the updated information. I have this on an enterprise grade network where no other issues are present. Please update your backend solution or app to improve latency.

App loses connection to the charger for no reason. Support is slow and unhelpful. When it works it is annoying at best as it is slow and requires you to be physically next to the station to start charging, but currently doesn't even work. The main question why do I even need to use this stupid app how about a button and pin code to start charging instead of an app?

Not using it much as I use Tibber to steer my charging. But right now I'm trying to update the charger as it didn't acknowledge that it was connected to my and there was an available update. Opening the app, the firmware info showsonly for 1 second then dissappears. Need to open the setting to click the update. I click many times before anything happens. The charger starts to blink purple and stops after a while. You think it's done but no. Opening the app again and it still has the same fw.

Awful UX during set up as very light grey text on a white background through the wizard. After setting up I'm glad it is simpler to charge the car. The QR code had come off the device in the rain. The app also has no reporting function e.g. how many kWh charged over say a month to be able to work out bills would be nice. The charger itself is super simple to use now everything has been set up but the app has very much let this down...the user experience is the worst I've seen in a long time.

Definitely room for improvement here. You can nicely connect and lock the cable to the charger with your phone in your pocket, and the charging starts automatically. But when you are leaving, it's a whole another story. The cable remains locked to the charger when you remove it from the cars end. Chargers typically release the cable when it's removed from the car. Not much effort to dig out the phone and open the app to release the cable but annoying enough as a pointless step in the process. 🤦

This app had the functionality to pause and resume charging while in standalone mode. This had been removed. Stand alone mode is handy for someone with solar panels. Please bring back full functionality in standalone mode. Edit: I raised the issue, Julie. The reply just told me exactly what I had just said. This functionality was there but is now not there anymore. That's not progress. Down another star.

The eco mode assumes the electrical prices are lowest during the night, which is not the case in my area very often. Should be called trickle or slow charging mode. What should be available is a schedule charge mode where I set a start and end time for the charger to deliver full load. Also, the app is very slow to report the charger status or confirm orders to charger. It feels there's a bottleneck at the server side, very inconvenient, even though connected via fast Wifi.

Im having nothing but trouble with my app, that it is useless. For three weeks I have had not contact between app and charger. I don't not know if my car is charging. I no longer can override the Ecco mode. I woke this morning with a car that was not fully charged...not happy After three emails via app service I have had no response from zaptec. I'm totally fed up with the entire charger.
