Great 9 * 9 little ditty. Know that it uses Chinese scoring, and that it's better to put some stones in your territory extra to make sure scoring is accurate. It seems this client hasn't been updated for a decades, but that's got a charming. I do wish you could resign even when it's your opponent's turn. Sometimes you play a move before you know it's time and then you have to look at it for a minute while you're opponent reacts

I think this app is great for playing. It doesn't let you analyze moves during the game, which I like. Maybe I would say that the analysis function after a game (called "edit" in the app) is a little awkward to use. Some of the reviews are saying the matching is unfair, which I haven't noticed after my rating settled after about 40 games. The komi is very large, at 7 points for all board sizes, which seems at my level to give on advantage to white on a small board, but it's not so bad.

Would be better if players could chat and make friends. Default board is too brightly colored. After closing app, my phone screen looked dull in comparison. Play was great, no lag. Lots of high ranked players. please add a request rematch option, that would be great.

Wanting to give compliment for being able to adjust sound effect now. The tsumego challenge is interesting too. However the user interface have become non intuitive. E.g. checking game records history is abit troublesome to access, it needs to be directly accessible like it used to be. Having to have coordinates display under option would be useful.

EDIT: the new redesign (January 2020) is terrible. It looks like bad joke. And there is even more white background pages contrasted with other dark background pages - terrible for eyes especially in night. Could you please change screens with white background to dark background? It is very annoying in the night when suddenly there is screen with white background. (1. Screen when starting new game 2. Screen with list of games to watch)

EDIT: subtracted a star because of the way the game handles bad connections. I actually lost a game on time because the seconds wasted in waiting for the connection were taken off *my* time, so the timer jumped from 12 seconds to 0 (and time out) when my opponent's move finally appeared. Please fix! (Orig) Nice way to get a quick game. I would pay a few bucks for an ad-free version. Addition: can you share a game with an sgf extension instead of txt? That way I can open it directly in BW-Go.

The app is great but unfortunately buggy! It happens on a regular basis, that i get disconnected and reconnected repeatedly during games and everytime i get reconnected it subtracts a significant amount of time from my counter, unavoidably leading to my "defeat through time". This is just plain ftustrating! Even in games where i'd have won them, my counter just reaches 0 and i lose...it's no fun like this! Also i got full mobile internet connection and full wifi connection - happens nonetheless!

The game works well enough and you can usually find a match quickly, but everything about the graphics is stressful - the 2000s word art, the fire background, the weird anime avatars - everything just screams edgy 12 year old - plain black and white would be so much better - it would be good to see what the computer considers each person's territory to be at the end of the match, there is a lot of overplay as not sure it always picks up dead groups - adverts playing with sound is annoying
