Приложението Електронна система за разрешение за пътуване (ESTA) от митническата и гранична служба на САЩ позволява на гражданите на държави от програмата за премахване на визите (VWP) да кандидатстват и да плащат за разрешение за пътуване без виза. Приложението ESTA е мобилна версия на процеса на кандидатстване и информация за ESTA, която може да бъде намерена и на уебсайта на ESTA на адрес https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov.В момента приложението ESTA има две налични функции: кандидатстване за ново индивидуално приложение и търсене на съществуващо приложение.
• Функцията „ЗАПОЧНЕТЕ“ позволява на пътуващите да създадат ново заявление за ESTA, да платят за ESTA и да изпратят заявлението, което да бъде обработено от системата, за да се определи дали отговарят на условията за пътуване до Съединените щати съгласно Програмата за премахване на виза без виза . Warning! Don't bother with this app for baby or toddler! The app itself is very well designed but clearly wasn't tested with small children. It requires a *video selfie" of the applicant that has to be perfectly centered and at two specific distances and is very sensitive to small movements. All but impossible with a small child and I was tearing my hair out until I found out on reddit that the online form doesn't even require this, only the app. Wish I'd known sooner!

Was easy to follow and was very clear. Bit of an issue with some of the scanning but more of an error on my end. Just as good as the website from previous experiences.

Feels silly to say this but when applying phone numbers, you have to remove that first number that the area code rules over ( a +44 over a UK 0 for example), this applies to work numbers as well! Aside that and maybe understanding that card numbers are often copied and pasted from bank apps with spaces between each 4th number (so you have to remove the slaves to fit in your cars number) the apps really great! So much easier than when I had to do it online years ago!

not a great app design. lots of different approval ticks you have to make. very time consuming and the kind of questions you need to answer. puts go off flying via the US, the greatest county in the world according to them. last bit, had issues with PayPal but at the same time could not go back to pay with credit card. and starting a new application was also not possible. so you are left in the dark how long it could possibly take before you can lock back in and continue paying the outstanding.

app repeatedly fails and crashes on current version of Android. "service error" over and over. randomly works after maybe ten tries then dies again. great idea but if it doesn't work...

I read it would take 23 minutes to complete and I believe it has probably taken close to or more than an hour. It seemed quite simple to start but during it stalled and I had to reenter information and the checking and verification stage did not show the confirm button for each section so I went back/forth unable to save and complete the form. unclear where to put postcode for home address and employer address. lastly payment was denied. Not a happy bunny!

the facial recognition/verification is necessary but tricky to navigate with minors. Otherwise this app is absolutely perfect!!

During the last page confirmed every section but couldn't proceed to payment. I had to go into a couple of sections save again though nothing needed editing. On the last one it allowed confirm and proceeded to payment. Otherwise it was straight forward. It could be the app or the phone.
