Call Confirmation is an application allowing the user to validate the outgoing calls to prevent misdials. It is free and has no ads.You can define the following settings:
- Enable or disable the call confirmation
- Choose between slider or buttons
- Choose the direction of the slider
- Disable the call confirmation if interactive response is not possible
- Disable the call confirmation if Bluetooth is connected
- Disable the call confirmation if Android Auto is connected
- Disable the call confirmation if screen is locked
The application requires the following to work:
- Role of default call redirection app
- Permission to display over other apps
- Permission to access nearby devices for Bluetooth option
The 5 seconds timeout is a limitation of the method used for Android 10 and above.
In case the Bluetooth option is grayed out, add the permission "Nearby devices" to the application.

Just perfect, I was looking for a successor of call confirm working in more recent versions of Android, and finally found it! Beside options of the way you have to confirm the call (variable sized buttons, maybe not going to the edges or swiping as already suggested), I would love the option to specify which Bluetooth devices enable/disable. That way, I could call from my car without, but my headset's annoying "redial last number" function wouldn't be an issue anymore.

This used to work on Android 10, now it doesn't. When I try to make a call, Call Confirm does not appear, and the call gets cancelled before it has started dialling. I cannot make calls, unless Call Confirm is uninstalled. Very disappointed, I found it really useful when it worked.

It is now about two weeks since I installed Call Confirmation. I was looking to replace the app which I had for a while but lately had not been working well. I am very happy to say that this app is by far an excellent app to prevent accidental calls. It works really great. It has worked perfectly every single time and I cannot be happier. I recommend this very highly. 5-stars plus!!

This is a good app but I have the same experience as another reviewer from 1.5 years back. Even if I immediately cancel the call the phone that I have called rings once and it does show that I called the number. As the previous reviewer noted that counts as pocket dialing. If there's a setting to solve this problem I'd love to hear about it!

I have used this program for a few years and it works great. At first the only choice was buttons and I really wanted a slider as it is more reliable. The new version does have the slider (buttons are optional). It also has an Android Auto override option. It is exactly all I wanted for such a utility. Thanks to the developper!

Edit: I've noticed on occasion, it appears Android 10 will give you an error message not allowing you to make a call due to the apps interference. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall this app. Hopefully the developer will find a work around. Many of the call confirm apps have been taken down from the Play Store. A few left on the store are sub-par at best. This app gives you what you need without all the unnecessary permissions required. The interface is simple. So far so good with this app.

Excellent app. Found it while looking for something else. What a lucky find. No silly permissions, easy setup and just works. The only thing I would like that is not possible at the moment is to change the timeout - it's 3 seconds and thats not very long if you are reading the call details behind the interface then thinking yes/no then clicking or sliding to confirm. Still a keeper either way.
YUP!-WAY-SUPERIOR!
BUGGY - DOESNT WORK SOMETIMES - Dude, you need to update this thing! I enter a phone number in my phone and it calls it without any alerts from your app, if I make the call. Workaround is to disable and enable the call confirmation option in the settings. Then it works. Happened also with numbers in my phonebook. Can't trust this app, so I will uninstall it.
