A TILE PLACEMENT GAME OF CREATING LANDSCAPES, CLAIMING AREAS, AND GAINING POINTS
Discover or re-discover Carcassonne, the multi-awarded tile-based game in which players draw and place their tiles to build a medieval city. Place your cities, roads, abbeys or fields to enlarge your landscape, then place your followers, the meeples. Knights, robbers or farmers... Each meeple will help you control your territory and win points.
But be careful, you will need all your best strategy and tactics to maximum your points! Place your tiles and your meeples wisely to stop your opponents and win the game.

The programming on this app needs work. For several months, I have about a dozen false "ongoing games" listed that are obviously errors. There's no way to remove them. Also, when the app freezes, which it often does, closing the app and logging in again causes the real current game to disappear. If they fix this nonsense, I'd be happy to rate it higher. It's otherwise a fun game.

I purchased this game some time ago and it worked without any issues on my Pixel 8 Pro ... Well, and now it freezes right after clicking on the app, showing the intro image without anything else. The phone offers to "wait" for the app to recover or shutting it down. Reinstalling the app didn't help. If it was free I'd let it go but having paid for it ... can you either fix it or kindly refund?

So it just stopped working. It hangs before it loads completely. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but nothing. It no longer works. It was a Good game and fast on my Pixel 7pro. Kind of annoying that I have to pay extra for expansion packs. Gets boring after playing for a while. At least the real tile game makes you have to think about your moves. This is okay that it only shows the possible moves.

We loved this game at first, but then all of a sudden it wouldn't open. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, updating, opening preferences up, whatever we could do.. no success. The help email provided? Nope! Not an active email. We purchased expansions on this app and now all that is down the drain unfortunately. I would love to hear from someone to fix this issue. Could be a great game ... if it would open!

Love the 3D graphics, app design, and effects (especially the completion of city effect). I have to admit that the graphics and UI got much better from the previous app. The smoothness of this app is satisfying. But I wish there were options to turn off some effects like those glowing lights indicating who played that tile and jumping meeples effect. Also, I couldn't find the rules for fields and farmers in the rulebook and tutorial. This might be a problem for new players.

This is a great game with some silly UI issues that should have been easy for the developers to fix a long time ago. This game has been out for ages, so I'm not holding my breath for an update. Also, the ridiculous pricing on expansions is a bummer. Also, the tutorial is laughable, but this is easy to work around with a web search for the game rules. Of course, with a little more thought about game design from the developer and this wouldn't be necessary for a user who just paid 5 bucks.

Amazing game, won't run on new phone. Perhaps it's just a tech issue on my end, however it ran on my prior phone (2021 OnePlus) without issue. Now it continually crashes in the boot up. I've reinstalled it several times. It's difficult to give it an accurate star rating, as on my old phone it ran perfectly, without issue, I spent many, many hours into it.

Sadly, this new Android version of Carcassonne (a great game!) is just as awful as the last. Cheesy graphics, choppy animations, broken game chat (seriously?!), slow and unstable connectivity, and no ability to play turn-timed games or non-timed games with friends over the internet. After having played the truly excellent version made by The Coding Monkeys (iOS only for some silly reason) for years, this version is an utter disappointment and gives the impression that Asmodee just doesn't care.
