Birdie Break is incredible. Never had a bad sitter, we love it. They make sure everyone is safe and trustworthy. It is such a relief! The service is a lifesaver. App wise, they need to integrate a messaging feature so some communication can be had with potential sitters before booking. I would also like to favourite or star sitters we really love.

Birdie is Uber for babysitters. I've had great experiences with the sitters on here including when I was nervous with setting my little one up with a stranger. But everyone is vetted and the worst experiences I've had have really just been about not having a great fit. 90 percent of the time the sitters are wonderful (and a lot of the time they don't mind doing your dishes while you are out!). Amazing service. Hope it expands Canada-wide.

I'm a nanny. I heard about this app through my local news and wanted to try it to get some more work as I could really use the money. I applied and had an interview with an employee from Birdie. During the interview, I asked for a name and phone number of someone that works for the company for the criminal record check to go to. Then I waited. A week passes and I think I've been forgotten about, so I sent a reminder email. That was 2 months ago and I still haven't heard anything.
