You control a little cat inspired my a popular Japanese emoji. You task is to save the world from the troll chicken who was turned the world's inhabitants evil. There are a lot of traps placed in places you wouldn't expect. You will fail a lot, but finally clearing a level feels so good.
The gameplay is in the style of old platformers, but a lot more coordination is required and the jumps need to be perfectly timed. If you played other rage games you should be just fine.

game is fine, pretty faithful recreation of the original syobon action, really the only complaint I have is that the control placement is horrible and hotboxes are weird as hell, there is another version of syobon action which is the official game, with 2 new editions, halloween and xmas (or the original) I'd recommend you play that version instead of this

It's really glitchy...... It seems that the game doesn't want to work right....... The game lags and it has terrible lagging spots..... And there was one glitch where I hid the mushroom to get the boo big smart way I could win...... But and sometimes the jump doesn't work...... I pressed jump with all of my strengths and pressing jump...... And the jump button just doesn't want to work....... It lights up like it works but cat Mario just doesn't want to jump...... But sometimes he does...... I n

After watching DGR play this, I wanted to try it out for myself. Great game in general, all the people saying it's too hard and giving it 1 stars, there are hunts available with ads, and if it's still too hard maybe you're not so good at platforms. Also if you're overwhelmed with ads, TURN YOUR WIFI OFF. Ads will not appear without the wifi. You're welcome. #DGR

wanted to take a minute to revisit a game I haven't played in years. I was pleased to find it in an app, but I also protect my network and with a little bit of research and only the app open in the span of 1m 45s: 80/87 requests had to be blocked due to them being ads/tracking related. apps like this are why my phone stays mostly empty and my network stays locked down (: can't trust devs to do the right thing and be open/honest about everything going on under the hood, so the blacklist grows

Game's good but level 9 after the first check point is sorta broken you cannot complete it i saw a hint on how to beat that section but the turtle blob was much closer in the hint then in the level , you really can't jump on him before he falls in the void and dies , the closer i got ia jump on him then he falls , please check it out and try to fix it

Hilarious game, but no way to get rid of the ads. Have to hit the X in the corner 3 times before it gets the hint that you don't want to install another game. Even if it had a one time payment option to remove ads, that would be a game changer for me, personally.

The hardest, funniest and most annoying game of all time. If you were, like me, a fan of Mario back in the days of cartridge games then this game is perfect for you. All the haters out there are just kids who have no idea what old school gaming was like. They have their IAP's, ads and PvP, we just had pure button-tapping fury. This game is way easier than it was a few years ago. Now you can watch a video hint, whereas before it was old school trial and error. Anyway, great game.
