Love the boardgame, love having an android option, but implementation is subpar. It can take upwards of fifteen seconds just to load menu screens, upwards of thirty for it to count victory points at the end of a turn, and it crashes a fair bit. There are also some significant bugs in the AI. An AI with ghouls in decline will always put its next race in decline at the earliest opportunity, wasting both races. If heroic halflings have only three territories, it crashes. Etc.

Runs great! On Samsung galaxy 9+ No issues for game play. Good music. Simple sound. Playable. Still a little confused about the game play mechanics but thats me. Main menu has a shop that you can go into, and there's nothing there for sale. (Can you reply an answer for me?) Beautiful board. Great detail on cards and board. Expansions are just a couple bucks (real money). Don't worry though there's only four of them. Other than that its a one time to play. I'm happy with the developers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was delighted to find that one of my favorite games had been turned into an app. It's great! Works exactly like the board game, but is better if you want faster game play (since the game performs some actions - counting points and so on - for you). It's also worth noting that there is a in game option to buy various expansions for your virtual game.

My partner and I adore this game and use the app constantly. Unfortunately, it is super glitchy. It's constantly getting stuck and stranding us in the middle of games, failing to remove finished games from the list of ongoing games, and other errors. This would be a default game for us but the frustration is getting to be too much.

Great game that can be played quickly and is well maintained. The expansions however are expensive for what you get and one i purchased was removed. I contacted the creator but they never replied. The app frequently needs network coverage to verify I own it and like the most of their apps has an annoying "you have a new high score" message you need to click ok to every game you play -a pain on a device not shared with anyone. If you get it don't waste money on the expansions.

The CPU doesn't understand ghouls. It puts them in decline, then picks a new race, then the next turn puts the NEW race in decline. I think because they start the turn with already in decline ghouls that they need to go in decline again. If you fix this bug, I'll rate 5 stars. EDIT: It's been 2 years. The bug is still here. I hope someone sees this and fixes it.

Fun game like the board game. But app crashes constantly. More than half the time after making it through an entire play through, the game crashes and "verifies download" and never loads the results screen. Kind of ruins the experience not to see the results. Unacceptable for a paid game. There are free games that are less glitchy.

Game crashes before score screen relatively often (about 20% of the time). Also the ai occasionally decides it doesn't like you and goes out of the way to attack you (such as on the first turn of the game, on a non aggressive race), not sure the logic there. Flaws aside, it's a solid remake of the board game.
